Charming Studio Cottage located on Easton's Point

  • Excelente ubicación en Easton's Point, justo al lado de Tuckerman Avenue. Encantadora casa de campo ubicada en una calle tranquila a poca distancia de Easton's Beach, 2nd Beach, numerosos restaurantes y el pintoresco Cliff Walk de Newport. A poca distancia en coche del centro de Newport, varias mansiones históricas y la avenida Bellevue.

    Esta cabaña estilo estudio está ubicada en un vecindario tranquilo y residencial adyacente a una vivienda ocupada por el propietario. Es ideal para una persona soltera, pareja o familia pequeña (máx. 1 niño mayor) que viene a disfrutar de unas vacaciones relajantes en el área de Newport.

I felt at home in the space. The neighborhood is residential, quiet, clean, lawns maintained. I was able to walk to First Beach and Second Beach. Joan provides a quiet space for one to get rest and relaxation.

We loved Joan's cottage. It was clean, well-equipped, and close to Newport and Middletown beaches, shopping, restaurants, etc. We appreciated the Keurig with coffee pods, and bottles of water in the fridge. Bed was comfortable, towels were fluffy, and shower had good water pressure. Joan showed us the space, explained everything we needed to know, and was a great host in general. There is even a resident cat, Marty, greeted us and made us feel welcome! We'd be happy to stay there again if in the area.

This was everything I hoped it would be and more!! Joan and her husband are just lovely, and great communicators. The cottage is the PERFECT size and location was incredible!Marty the black cat was a bonus, I personally LOVED. Decorated beautifully, and the whole place screamed comfort and well-thought-out design and use of space! So clean! The skylight and the loft were both fun bonuses. Will book again!!!

Joan’s cottage was perfect for our recent trip to Newport RI. Very clean cozy place with kitchen and private bathroom. Shower has great water pressure and beds and couch very comfortable. Joan provided water for us as well as clean towels and made check in very easy. Location is very quiet and close to Easton Beach. Also short ride to 2nd st beach and Purgatory chasm (which is a must see magical spot!). Close to plenty of restaurants and short ride to cliff walk and downtown Newport. Also there is a local cat - Marty - who is super friendly and will welcome you while you’re there. We would definitely stay here again.

We were very warmly greeted by Joan, the cottage is perfect for 2 people, very clean, comfortable and cozy, it is very well located and even the weather was beautiful!

This was such a cozy place to stay! Much closer to Newport than we realized, which was great! Very walkable and plenty to do in the area. One of those places you’d want to visit again. Joan was an attentive host!

Great little cottage, perfect for our stay. Many interesting things to explore on foot and easy access to the more "touristy" areas by car. Don't forget to pet the cat.

Wonderful weekend getaway

The property was beautiful and quaint it was perfect for our weekend away for our daughters college graduation. It was our first experience with VRBO and it was perfect, would definitely do it again.

I highly recommend staying here! It’s clean, easy to check in/out and the host is friendly & helpful. The cottage is located minutes from the beach and is a short drive to all that Newport has to offer.

Perfect Getaway

Joan was incredibly kind and gracious with all the details of her property. My two teens had said it was the best location and loved the coziness. A wonderful little getaway for us.

Perfect, quiet getaway.

The cottage was perfect for us. It was clean, cozy and had everything we needed. The best part was walking to the edge of the water, sitting on the rocks and watching the waves. Very convenient drive to downtown, mansions, Cliff Walk etc.

This cottage is perfect for a single person or a couple looking to be close to Newport but in a quiet and relaxing neighborhood. It is a short walk to 1st beach and a few restaurants and shops and a 10 minute drive to downtown Newport. Joan is lovely and very accommodating. I will definitely be back!

Wonderful stay

We stayed in this cozy cottage for three nights to attend our nieces wedding. It is close to all the Newport activities. It was so nice to come back to a clean, comfortable, quiet home every day! The host that we met was such a lovely lady. We’ll have to come back to Middletown and stay in this cottage more often in the future!

Great cottage!

The location was perfect, short walk to beach. Also short walk to some restaurants and short drive to downtown Newport. Cottage was clean and had everything you’d need for your stay. Joan was great and made check in and out easy! Would love to return!
