  • AUG 16-23 WEEK or long WEEKEND OPEN; full week runs SUN to SUN. BBH is an incredibly versatile spacious rental with a 4BD main house and a separate 2BD in law apartment with roof-deck, both accessible through side by side doors off inside garage landing. Two first floor bedrooms-no steps.
    The Main house has a NEW KITCHEN, two 1st floor bedrooms and two 2nd floor bedrooms. There are full bathrooms with tubs on each floor, plus an additional 1/2 bath on 1st floor, as well as an enclosed outdoor shower in the private backyard. 1st floor bedrooms include one with king bed, one with twin daybed with pullout twin trundle. 2nd floor bedrooms include one with queen, and one with two twins and set of twin bunk beds.
    The large deck located directly off the main house kitchen is great for backyard barbecues and casual entertaining. On hot summer days, stretch out on one of our loungers, or rest quietly in the shade under our dual retractable awnings. In the evenings, enjoy beautiful westward sunset views right from your own deck. Main house patio furniture comfortably seats 12+.
    The attached in law apt has a separate entrance from inside the garage. It has its own living room, small kitchen, private queen bedroom, and loft bedroom with a full and a queen. There is one full bathroom with tub for the apt. And best of all, the apt has direct access to our incredible roof-deck with spectacular views.
    BBH has a fabulous location just a five minute walk down a quiet side street to The Newport Resort and First / Easton's Beach, a great family beach with nice amenities. Easy bike ride or 15 minute walk to Second / Sachuest Beach, or bike/quick drive to Third Beach. For the kids, a local elementary school expanded playground is only a quick stroll away. BBH is a five minute walk to many local restaurants (including The Atlantic Grill, Tickets sports bar, Diegos mexican, Mission burger and Flo's Clamshack), surf-bike shops, convenience store, Clementines ice cream shop. Downtown Newport is minutes away. No more parking hassles, as this property offers a two car garage and 4 additional off street spaces. Just unpack and enjoy your week!

This is a beautiful home with lots of charm! It is also in walking distance to some great restaurants, the beach, and the Cliff Walk. The hostess and host had great communication with me and I’m sure would’ve been just as good as communicating with them during our stay but we didn’t need to. It was so nice to have a kitchen stocked with all of the things you don’t necessarily want to buy while on vacation but need if you are preparing food at “home.” The house is also incredibly spacious with a separate apartment that was great for some of the people in our group to rest without others in the main house needing ro tip toe around. Lastly, the neighborhood is full of lovely rabbits and there are tall shrubs for privacy so it feels like your own private hideaway enjoying nature.

Family vacation

Every summer we rent a home for our family vacation, so we can all be together. We love Newport so decided to give Middletown a try. We had a great time. The house was very centrally located, near restaurants and the beach, and it was very clean and comfortable. It was also very child friendly as we have quite a few grandchildren. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

Wedding week

We stayed at this property for my sons wedding and it was perfect for my family. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants and to the Cliff walk. Everything was clean and spacious with both units rented. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect in every way

Clean, conveniently located, friendly owners, beautiful area/neighborhood. More than enough space for 12 adults spending the weekend for my husbands 40th. Would 110% stay again and hope to in the future!

Lovely location

This home was perfect for our girls weekend (8 adults) in Newport!! The house is just as pictured. It is a 5 ish minute walk to first beach (Easton) , less than a mile to the start of the Cliff Walk. It’s a 5 min drive to downtown Newport. The owner is very responsive, and even checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was good with our stay. I highly recommend this property!!!

the house was nice and suited our needs. The owners manual that the owner provided was more than helpful. The only request we wish we had was to have a cable tv in the living room as opposed to the bedroom.

Family trip

We had three families and the two separate living areas were ideal. We took several day trips to New England areas and the location was great. The kitchen was well stocked and accommodated our needs. I recommend the property.

Property was beautiful, and close to everything you might need. Sara, the owner was a delight to work with. All questions were answered promptly and she came up with suggestions for the “ must sees” for any events in town. She made a small get away a little more special.

2024 Nell’s bells, girls trip

Host was easy to deal with. Location is perfect to Newport and all of the highlights of Newport. The house was very centrally. Located near restaurants that we could walk to. We enjoyed everything about our visit especially the cold weather. Newport is a very interesting place to visit with lots of things to do and see.

Fantastic house!

Hosts were exceptionally responsive; the house is very well-stocked, clean, and functional; and the location is perfect. Short walk to Middletown restaurants and First Beach, slightly longer walk to Second (suggest driving and parking to bring beach gear - ~15-20 minutes unloaded). Highly recommended!

Beautiful House - Great Location

The house was the perfect house for a large group, with many different sitting areas and many beds/ bedrooms perfect for large families. Communication with the hosts were excellent. The location was amazing, short walk to the beach and 5 minutes from downtown Newport. 10/10 would recommend.

Great Girls Weekend at a Fantastic Property!

Long weekend away with the girls could not have been better! Perfect house, spacious, well equipped and great location! Sara and Lance were great to work with - communicated throughout the booking process and during our stay. They will DEFINITELY see us again!!

Briarwood House

House was great- clean and plenty of space for our party of 15 (including six children)! Outdoor deck was perfect with plenty of lawn space for games. Amazing location…walking distance to bars, restaurants and shops as well as the beach and super close to Newport. Highly recommend!

Loved it!

The house was everything we were looking for, a group of us were in town for the Newport race weekend. The house is spacious, very clean, well stocked and a great location. We cannot wait to go back when the weather is nicer to enjoy the rooftop deck! Sara and Lance are wonderful to work with. I would 10/10 recommend.
