Amberfold Lodge, Heyshott cerca de Midhurst

casa de campo privada en terrenos de un establecimiento con encanto del siglo 17 en la lista, situado en paisajes hermosos brezales en las afueras de la localidad de Heyshott, a sólo 10 minutos en coche de la histórica Midhurst y 15 minutos de Petworth.

El Lodge está equipado con una gran habitación con cama matrimonial / estar, contigua pequeña zona de cocina con nevera, cocina y microondas, y una habitación húmeda con ducha. También hay un televisor y wifi.

En el corazón del Parque Nacional de South Downs, con paseos locales justo en la puerta. La forma de South Downs es un par de millas de distancia y el sendero de la serpiente está a 100 yardas de distancia. Las bicicletas de montaña están disponibles para contratar a nivel local.

El Lodge es una base ideal para Goodwood (7 millas), polo Cowdray (3 millas) y lugares de interés tales como ruinas de Cowdray Park, la casa de Petworth, el Weald y Downland museo, Chichester y la costa.

I had a lovely peaceful stay at the Lodge, which was very clean and had everything I needed. There are beautiful walks to be had directly from the Lodge and wonderful dark skies with shooting stars to be seen and Owls to be heard!Jon and Tanya were very helpful with good communication. Highly recommend.

Charming woodland setting

This is our 6th stay in this charming cottage. It is so cosy and a real hideaway. Jon & Tanya are a lovely couple and make you feel very welcome. We will definately be back and highly recommend it.

Welcome break

Beautifuly presented every thing you need for a short stay.l liked the choice of books a nice touch.This is the second time i have stayed at Jon's property the previous time i stayed in the Annex.My daughter lives just two mins away so the lodge and annex are very handy to stay as i live in Devon and don,t get to see her often.I have already booked another stay at Christmas so i think that says it all.

Delightful cottage

Quiet and modern

I chose this location to be in the countryside within the South Downs National Park. I was not disappointed. I could hike locally or drive a few miles for endless trails and vistas. I could also easily drive to the coast or to visit many wonderful small towns and other destinations.The Lodge was clean and comfortable and offered all I needed.

A Cottage Deep in the South Downs

Everything you need

A lovely lodge in the heart of West Sussex, which has everything you could possibly need for your stay, with lovely hosts as well. I spent two weeks at the lodge and was very happy and comfortable. it’s position allows you to explore countryside, local towns and the coast. Thank you and I hope to see you next year

Great little cottage in nice and quiet surroundings.

We had us a very relaxing two week stay in The Lodge. Plenty to see and do for us in that part of England (beautiful countryside and not too far away from places like Brighton, Portsmouth and Southampton, to name a few), but the accomodation itself was way more than comfortable enough to stay in every now and then and just relax. Next time we're traveling that way again, we'll definately check if it's available!

A perfectly peaceful place to stay. Lots of walks direct from the door. Amberfold had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. And we even got to see a deer from the front door! Would love to come back to do the rest of the serpent trail. Hosts were great and unobtrusive, but checked to see we were settled.

Relaxing little woodland hideaway

2024 - our 4th visit in 4 years and, hopefully, not our last. Thanks to our hosts, Jon and Tanya for the use of their charming little cottage in the heart of the beautiful Sussex countryside with woodland walks literally from the doorstep.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft für eine oder zwei Personen

Das Häuschen ist leider sehr klein, aber dennoch schön, gut gepflegt, sauber und alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden. Für Naturfreunde ist die Lage an Rand eines Heidegebiets mit eigenen Zugang toll, in der Umgebung kann man eine Vielfalt von Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen und entdecken, die Eigentümer helfen gern mit Hinweisen. Auch die Küste mit typisch englischen, manchmal etwas altbackenen Badeorten ist schnell zu erreichen. Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert!

This was our third stay at this charming little country cottage, and will not be the last! Jon and Tanya are very welcoming hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Beautiful woodland walks literally from the door.
