“Friendly staff, beautiful setting. Feels like you are in the English countryside ”

“Bereits beim Betreten des Anwesens erwartet dich ein wunderschöner, sehr gepflegter Garten. Atemberaubend ist die Aussicht auf die umliegenden Berge. Besonders vom Pool und der angrenzenden Terrasse. Die Zimmer sind super gemütlich mit einem extra großen, bequemen Bett. Das Badezimmer wurde neu gestaltet und ist sehr großzügig und gepflegt. Das Frühstück wird frisch zubereitet. ”

“Beautiful hidden gem. We were so spoiled”

“Our stay at the Old Mushroom Farm was fantastic. The converted mushroom house into an apartment is awesome and very comfortable. I would recommend it for anyone wishing to explore the Howick/Karkloof area.”

“Room was really comfortable”

“Rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff truly go above and beyond, paying attention to even the smallest details, which makes the stay feel extra special. And the breakfast? Absolutely incredible — a wide selection of fresh juices, fruit, freshly baked croissants, and cheeses that are simply to die for. Highly recommended!”

“Wonderful and relaxing, great hosts, lovely things to do nearby. We stayed on because we loved it so much! ”

“The rooms were a bit small for the price charged, the nine-hole golf course was in excellent condition.”

“Although it was very cold the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and provided a heater A bit disappointing was the restaurant was closed they required 24 hrs notice There was a excellent pub just 5 minute drive away The breakfast was very good again excellent staff provided a full English We had a lovely massage followed by a drink in front of a blazing fire and a very pleasant dinner”

“Stunning venue! unit was gorgeous and spacious. its lovely and quiet and private. only critique is there was no milk in my room/ fridge to make tea or coffee and thought the shower floor could use a bit more of a scrub, besides that was a perfect stay.”

“Yes”

“Location and grounds were lovely. Room was advertised as the "Stables Suite", but it was very small. We had to go outside and into another locked room to access our kitchenette. Front desk staff was very dry and not welcoming. She did not seem to like her job. Breakfast started 45 minutes after advertised. Listing and signage say "breakfast, lunch and dinner", but they only serve breakfast. Bed was very old and creaky. Lots of potential. Needs TLC.”

“The stay was ok as the location was convenient for the function I was attending. I had to pay extra for breakfast which I dont recall from the booking. The carpets were were shabby as was the 2 seater couch. The bed linen was clean! I was given a family unit. The space was awkward to move around due to the sleeper couch and 2 seater couch.”
