The boys played pitch in the backyard, we used the hibachi to cook. The weather was perfect to sit around the table on the patio. Such a lovely spot with lights strung around. The kitchen table was a good size to play Uzzle with everyone. The beds were very comfy. Once we figured out how to keep the water off in the bathroom, it worked well for us to shower. Debbie was on top of every question I had. We would recommend her lovely house. The street out front is very busy, so make sure your small people do not go through the gate.

Solar Eclipse stay

It was great for our visit to see the solar eclipse. Excellent location. Near a nature reserve park; beautiful wild flowers. Very nice coffee shop nearby.

Very Cute!!

This house is very cute with a "She-Shed" out back which is awesome. The owner was also very helpful and nice!! Overall great place to stay if you are visiting Midlothian.

Series Championship Paintball

It was a fantastic stay everything as stated in the listing, owner was the nicest and most helpful!!! The backyard area is so cute and great for groups and families to sit and spend quality time, Cozy inside and out is the best word I could think of to describe it. Will absolutely stay there for future tournaments if available!!!

Visit to Midlothian

This property was just right for my sisters and I. We each had our own bedroom and the living area was very nice for visiting. The bathroom faucets on the tub were hard to use and it was difficult to control the temperature. On the whole, it was a very comfortable place to stay.

Our stay at this Vrbo was perfect, especially during an ice storm! The host went above and beyond by ensuring the space was warm upon our arrival. The home was impeccably clean, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable – we’re obsessed! The heated blankets and long hot showers made our stay extra cozy. The kitchen was fully stocked with every gadget we could need, making it feel just like home. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and comfortable getaway! Will stay again, and idk why curious about staying in the she shed!!

Pleasant home away from home

Good communication. Nice clean home. There was even a nice basket of goodies. Expect the She Shed to be a bit warm in the summer.

Great!

This house was very cute and in a great location. It is close to downtown Midlothian and close to a walking trail. The She Shed does cost 75.00 dollars to stay in which is not located in the listing. Also, we couldn’t kick down the cooler past 77 degrees. I was also turned off by the owner coming by to water the garden. Other than that, we had a great time.

Worst experience I’ve ever had

The house is disgusting, it’s dirty. Debbie will try and charge you for every dime she can. They have a leak in her toilets hardly work and trying to charge us for it. I would never pay a dime for this awful place. If I could get a refund I would in a heartbeat. Worst experience ever.

I’d choose elsewhere to stay.

Inaccurate website description. Does not sleep 8. There were 3 queen size beds. Description said theee were supposed to be rollout beds as well, there were no rollout beds. You walk in to the house and it’s scorching hot in the middle of the 100° Texas summer. There’s a note on the thermostat stating not to put it below 83°. It was convenient because it was located next to the Bella Woods Wedding and Event Center.

The house is decorated incredibly cute and is a very comfortable place; however, the owner was there watering flowers when I arrived and she was very nice and provided a tour. She indicated she was there to dust as it had been a long time since the home had been occupied. While very cute, the home was very dirty. It smelled of mild/mildew very badly, which I am allergic to. There were mold spores growing all over a stand in my room. The toilet in the master bedroom did not work, the main bathroom toilet barely flushed, the bathtub was clogged, there were cobwebs hanging above the stove and lights, dead and live bugs, and lots of bug feces on things. When pulling out my chair for dinner, there was mouse feces on the chair and also a chair in the garage. The patio furniture was not usable. It was too dirty and would require cleaning to sit in. Very nice lady and beautifully decorated property but needs a extreme cleaning, pest control, and mold/mildew remediation.

Rodent droppings

We checked in late for a 4 night stay because of a late flight from dfw. The check in was easy. My two grandchildren and daughter were preparing for bed and we noticed rodent droppings on the bedspread of my bed, tv stand and a bathroom sink. It was nearly midnight and too late to find a hotel so I put sheets on the couch to sleep a miserable night. The bed my granddaughter slept in had a dropping inside of the bedding in the sheets that she noticed in the morning. I reached out to Debbie first thing the next morning and she came over to see. She acknowledged we had “unwanted guests” and I pointed out the filthy toilet and dirty conditions of the house. The house also had a very stale odor upon entering. I had to scramble to find another house for us for the next 3 nights. I offered to pay half the fee, which I felt was more than fair, Debbie shook hands with me on the arrangement and is now refusing to refund me at all.

Group BNB

Our stay was great! Host communicated with us throughout the entire weekend. The home was clean and had plenty of blankets, perfect for a small group, and perfect for enjoying the evening out in the backyard patio. We even forgot a couple items and she was gracious enough to mail them to us! We will be booking again soon!

Charming and Convenient

Quiet neighborhood, convenient and central location, a warm summer getaway. Debbie was so responsive when a few things came up, and we were able to relax, even with more than a handful of kids! Thank you for a comfortable stay.
