Welcome to Ramstadbu – a cozy and spacious cabin idyllically located by Ramstadsjøen, surrounded by forest, mountains and quiet nature. Here you can experience real Norwegian cabin coziness by the water, only about an hour from Trondheim.

From the cabin, it is only a few minutes' walk down to Ramstad Lake, where you can swim, paddle or enjoy quiet mornings by the water's edge.

The cabin is perfect for families and small groups who want a few quiet days in nature - with hiking opportunities, swimming area and pleasant evenings in front of the fireplace.

Here the pace naturally slows down. The days can start with coffee on the terrace and a view of the water, and end with a fireplace after a day out in nature.

Cleaning is included in your stay, and the beds are made before you arrive so that you can lower your shoulders from the start.

The cabin has four bedrooms spread over two levels and plenty of space for both socializing and peace.

The sleeping places are distributed as follows:

• Two bedrooms with double beds (160 cm)
• Two bedrooms with family bunks (120 cm + 75 cm)
• Comfortable year-round duvets and freshly ironed Egyptian cotton linen
• Towels are ready on the beds on arrival

The floor plan makes it easy to be together while leaving room for quiet moments.

The cabin has an open and social living and kitchen solution with plenty of space for all your travel companions.

Large windows let nature in and provide great views of the forest and the landscape around the cabin.

• picking berries and mushrooms in the forest

In winter, you can enjoy quiet winter days, walks in snowy landscapes and cross-country skiing in the area.

It is also not uncommon to see moose or other wildlife in the forest around the cabin.

Up to two dogs are welcome by appointment.There may be a small surcharge in the price.

To ensure that the cabin is of the same standard for all guests, we ask that the following rules be followed:

• Pets must be arranged in advance prior to arrival
• Pets must not be in furniture or beds
• Pets must not be left alone loose in the cabin
• Dog poop must be picked up on the property
