“The situation in a woodland property was nice. The interior was nice , although probably more rustic than luxury. It was good to have an open fire, because the living area was cold without it : perhaps a heat pump as well would be a good idea. We had to get lots more firewood from the woodpile especially kindling as we lit the fire each morning and evening. The living area was quite dark. “Nice little place tucked away out of the way, however just had a pretty mediocre welcoming at first as we went to check in around 3.30pm then got told that the owner of the business was away and hadn't mentioned about our stay and that we would need to return around 5pm to check in (Had been driving all day and just felt like a bit of a rest to be honest). “Ross and Margaret are the sweetest people with the perfect cottage. The cottage has everything you will need. The bed was the most comfortable bed I had in my 34 days on holiday. The water pressure for a shower is perfect. They made recommendations for dinner and it was spot on. Personally I loved watching the sheep so much I could have sat on the porch with a bag of chips and been happy. The cottage is country but only A short drive to town. You will love staying here.”
