Bien equipada, cabaña privada en su propio parque personal

Esta cabaña recientemente remodelada de 800 pies cuadrados cuenta con una sala de estar con chimenea de gas, diseño de cocina abierta, 1 habitación con cama Queen y un altillo con una cama de tamaño completo. 5 juegos de puertas francesas y una gran claraboya hacen que la cabaña sea luminosa y brillante. La cabaña se encuentra en un entorno tipo "parque" en 1 1/2 acres en el monte Tamalpais. Es privado y tranquilo y se siente como si estuvieras a mundos de distancia, sin embargo, SF está a unos 30 minutos en coche por la carretera panorámica. La pintoresca ciudad de Mill Valley está a unos 12 minutos en coche cuesta abajo. Muir Beach, Muir Woods y Stinson Beach se encuentran a unos 15-20 minutos en coche. Rutas de senderismo y ciclismo están disponibles justo en la puerta de la casa. Una barbacoa de gas y un área para comer al aire libre están disponibles afuera en la terraza que envuelve la casa. Mill Valley tiene muchos fabulosos restaurantes y boutiques para explorar. Sonoma Valley está a unos 30 minutos y Napa Valley está a una hora en coche.
Tenga en cuenta que el camino que conduce a la propiedad es sinuoso y estrecho, pero una vez que llegue allí, ¡no querrá irse porque es muy extraordinario!

Overall, everything was really nice, it's a lovely place. Host is very welcoming. It was wonderful to have a fireplace and a Christmas tree, too, although something that would have made our stay even better would have been doormats and a dustpan and broom to sweep up. Extra linens and towels would have also been helpful. The location for hiking is tremendous, the options are endless. It is as charming as it looks in the photos, very charming!

My husband and I had a wonderful 3 night stay at this cottage. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful flowers, blackberry bushes, and peaceful woods. The inside of the cottage is comfortable and has everything you need to feel at home.

Absolutely amazing

Couldn't have been better. It's a perfect retreat tucked in to a beautiful setting. Loved everything about the house and the location. Easy access to hiking trails and the nearby towns. We plan to stay there again.

Cozy secluded cottage amongst the redwoods

We had a lovely stay, it's the perfect spot for a quiet getaway and close to many hiking trails. It's tricky to get to for those not familiar with Mill Valley roads, but once you arrive it's a really cute place.

Absolute Zen

I came up with my family for 5 days and it was absolutely amazing. I worked a few days and the internet access and speed was flawless. We enjoyed the access to nature and the property it self has some of the most amazing views. The home is clean, well appointed extremely cozy. We had the best time.

Unbelievably beautiful property

Came for a weekend for a daddy/daughter adventure in San Fran. This place is storybook beautiful. Felt so nice after a busy day in the city to come to this serine, peaceful, quiet home. Owners were amazing to work with. Can't say enough good, HIGHLY recommend!

Perfect Location!

My wife and I can't say enough positive things about our stay. The property is tucked away and is an oasis within the redwoods right outside the back door. The host was quick to respond during the booking process as well as while we were enjoying the property. We'll definitely be back as the proximity to Muir Woods, the dipsea trail, Mill Valley, and local beaches can't be beat.

Perfection

My wife and I stayed at this wonderful cabin in the woods for two weeks. The cottage is clean, well equipped and cosy. The cottage has so many windows that it makes you feel like you are outside. We love to trail run, so this was a perfect place to stay as it is close to so many amazing trails. The property managers were great. We will definitely be back.

This property was just as presented in the pictures. Quiet and beautifully nestled in the trees. The location was ideal for access to the nearby beaches, redwoods and charming downtown Mill Valley. We’ll be back.

Mill Valley visit

Truly a peaceful sanctuary. We were here during one of the many atmospheric rivers of the year so did not get to enjoy the patio, however we couldn’t get enough of the interior. So comfy, cozy and windows offer stunning views of the redwoods. Great location, 10 min from town. Can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend.

Beautiful and clean

I would give them an overall of 4.5 out of 5 stars. Really clean, quiet and beautiful. It’s close to the places we wanted to visit; remote yet convenient. I just wish the contract (though understandable) was sent with the initial booking via text since you can’t click on the link with the Vrbo messaging. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Cute cottage but not during a rare heat wave

We really enjoyed the location and privacy of this cottage! Unfortunately when we arrived the place had no ventilation and has no AC. It was about 90 degrees out! Overall a nice stay once things cooled off.

Truly incredible

Everything about this property is incredible. The location tucked away in the redwoods is unlike anything else. The space is exactly what we needed as a family of three with a 7 year old. The view as the sun rises and sets is unforgettable. We were able to get to Muir Woods park, Muir beach, and the quaintest town in America, mill valley, in about 10 min. We took many of the restaurant recommendations and had great meals. The beds were very comfortable ( and we are picky bed people!) and the lookout point made for the perfect place to have a peaceful reading afternoon. We were so sad to leave and are already planning a trip back!

Muir valley cottage

Highly don’t recommend this place. They cancelled on us late the night before our arrival. Unable to speak to the host directly as they “declined” to talk. We had to scramble to find another place to stay creating a stressful trip. DO NOT BOOK!!!!

Amazing cottage

Amazing cottage surrounded by nature with many trails nearby.Communications are great, and the cottage is lovely. Very well stocked with cooking essentials. Very private. The only nitpick is that the bath is very shallow. If a good bath is important to you, this is probably not the one.Some of the other reviews mentioned a narrow road that got me a bit worried... it's really not bad, even with an SUV. Just don't drive a tank. It's in the mountains... obviously you don't have a 4 lane highway leading up to it. The only tight bit is the final turn into the driveway. If you are driving a van or a truck it may require some skill.

Fabulous Location for Hiking

Hiked the Panoramic Trail to the Sun Trail for sunset. Hiked down into Muir Woods on the Canopy Trail. Hiked down the Tenderfoot Trail to Mill Valley and back up the zig zag trail. Hiked three times to the top of Mt. Tam via different routed including Hogback trail, Fern Creek Trail and Temalp trails. All without ever getting the car. Just fantastic location. Fireplace is best ever. Secluded, private and close to Mill Valley but the hiking ... hiking is just really the best ever. Top recomendation.
