“We have never visited The Lakes and wanted an overnight stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Would highly recommend staying here. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The food for the evening meal in the restaurant was lovely followed by breakfast the next day, with plenty of options. Also helped with have parking facilities on site and free for visitors to the hotel. Was not disappointed with our stay, and would definitely visit again in the future”

“Beautiful property with tasteful decor and a real homely feel. The car park is a real convenience right beside the hotel. Our room was immaculate and with a very large, very comfortable bed. A gorgeous view of the hills from the window really set the scene. The room also had a bath which was a bonus. Breakfast was delightful and with a good variety of options, including avocado sourdough toast. A brief walk into the centre of Ambleside to the bars and restaurants, not far at all. “Lovely little B&B with parking, inbetween Windermere and Bowness. The staff were super helpful, and breakfast was great. The only small downside was the lack of sound proofing of the rooms, particularly noise from the landing. Would still stay again though”
