“This place was absolutely perfect in all the ways possibly. Location, time, cleanliness, accommodations for my dog, fenced in yard with cute little deck and table, private parking, recently remodeled and very tasteful decor. We absolutely loved it and will stay here next time we come to Asheville. Unfortunately this is the only pic took but we also enjoyed our very cute neighbor! lol ”

“We were able to book both units in this duplex for a family holiday gathering. Certainly, we could not have found anything better located in Black Mountain. As the property description indicates, we were just five minutes from the center of this lovely small town and five minutes from Lake Tomahawk Park. All of us, including our dogs, enjoyed our stay in Take-a-Hike.”

“It is tucked away in small street surrounded by nature. The porch offers lovely seating from which to enjoy the surroundings. We had only an overnight getaway and we loved the cozy house which was meticulously clean. The hosts were wonderful. They were in touch with us before and during our stay. The link they sent with all the rules and and instrctions for operatiing the themostats and such was very helpful. We will definitely stay again for our next getaway. ”

“We enjoyed our stay in this house that has been subdivided into apartments. Newly remodeled and super clean. Nice decor and finishes. Complimentary bottled water, soft drinks, popcorn, and coffee were provided. We enjoyed the projector tv in the living room. Area is remote and peaceful. ”
