“This is a beautiful place. Plenty of room for our family. 3rd bedroom does have a separate entrance but, it was fine for our older kids! Beautiful drive to get there and beautiful views. “No shops nearby, but the peacefulness of the area was wonderful. Had to drive a bit to get to places but then the island is big and you do have to drive more. Saw areas i had never seen before and the beautiful overlooks from Kona Joes and another coffee shop were breathtaking.This house was on the ocean and we had beautiful sunsets every night, so peaceful sitting there by the ocean with the waves, I loved it.Thank you for sharing your home!”

“Loved our stay here. It was the perfect spot a little off the beaten path that was a great home base for our adventures on the big island. Close enough to everything you need and far enough from the hoardes of tourists, with lots of little shops and spots to check out nearby. As for the space itself, it's super cozy and has an incredible ocean view from the screened in patio. Waking up to that view was one of the best parts of our trip. Would 100% stay here again.”

“The house has a great layout that was comfortable for 6. The views are wonderful, especially the view of the ocean from the deck. It was a very short walk to a quiet little beach which we liked much better than the big-named beaches. The place was easy to keep clean with an outside shower for rinsing off. It’s a bait of a drive for groceries or restaurants, so plan ahead. But the neighborhood is really pretty and this house is beautiful. All around we had a fabulous week. ”

“Our host as very accommodating and responded to anything we needed. The daylight lower apartment is nicely set up. We could see a little view of trees and the water from the small deck with a surrounding flowering garden.We were able to make meals on the hot plate and small refrigerator provided. A microwave and coffee pot is available too. The bathroom is beautiful and the bed comfortable. It was in a neighborhood, so stores are 20 to 30 minutes away.
