“The hotel is beautiful and in a great location with a lot of shops and restaurants close by. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We stayed in a room on the top floor of the mill, it was a picturesque room, it was a bit hot at night but they had a ventilator to cool it down. The food at the restaurant was amazing! Great chef, delicious breakfast and dinners. ”

“This was an amazing place to stay. If you are looking for an authentic "room above a country pub" experience. This is the place. It does have old pub quirks, the floors arent very level, and the access upstairs is challenging. But the charm of the beams and windows is undeniable. The apartment was beautifully decorated, and if you're into art, this places hums with it. We loved our time here. And its location means its easy to explore Gloustershire and South Wales. ”

Our room was quite large w a sitting area - the bed was very comfortable - we arrived soaking wet and they provided a drying rack - they were extremely accommodating, providing us with a packed lunch to continue our walk the next day - dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious - very kind staff and a beautiful view -highly recommend!”
