“I loved this place. Im an english speaker and they did their best for me. Great stuff in the room. A lot of fun. Do know its a love hotel. My room and a speaker system. Only complaint is the 20 minute walk to the station. I like walking and thats not a bad lengthbut not everybody would like it. Mall right next door with plenty of food options. Gifu castle and the buddha castle are quite close. Nagoya is less than an hour away.”

“The Quintessa is an older hotel but comfortable with good value. My queen double was spacious and had a great view from the large windows. Breakfast is above average with a focus of Japanese dishes. The hotel is a great departure point to explore the canals around the City Hall and Ogaki Castle. There are 29 natrual springs in Ogaki, 3 are located in front of the station. Nobody drinks from them--but they were the highlight of my trip. The water is cold and sweet! I filled up my water bottle...

“This was a very cute boutique hotel in a residential neighborhood. It was a very short walk from the train station so it was convenient traveling from Osaka. It was charming and very reasonable for me, my husband and son. The room had 3 beds and everything we needed. So glad we stayed here and would stay again. The hot beverage machine in the lobby was very nice. The staff was very nice, too.”

“If you like to walk there are many good places to eat nearby. The only draw back is that the town has only 2 taxis so it might be best to rent a car. Loved the restaurant Hachiya within walking distance. He only takes reservations. ”

“Good price ”

“Es un hotel que se nota es viejo, pero lo que no me gustó es que bajo la razón de ser “ecológicos” no limpian el cuarto diariamente. Literalmente no entran al cuarto, solo una vez cada cuatro días. En otros hoteles que tienen este tipo de reglas, no hacen la limpieza general, pero hacen la cama y lavan el baño, aquí NO entran para nada a menos que pagues una tarifa adicional. Mi recomendación sería buscar un hotel cerca de los muelles donde hay pesca con cormoranes.”

“Breakfast was fun; Variety of typical Japanese dishes that also are very nutritious, hardly any artificial additives ( I thought,) and taste good. I had only Japanese dishes though. Cannot say anything about dessert cakes and breads. Manu was changed daily. I could have stay some more days. Most importantly, the price was very reasonable. ”
