We stayed in Ananas (Fruit flats) for 8 nights and loved the apartment - it was in a quirky historic building and the apartment was lovely and modern. When we arrived, we were met at a cafe close to our apartment and the gentleman kindly carried our heavy suitcase up the steps, over his shoulder. It was a lovely gesture to leave a bottle of wine for us. The apartment was cleaned about every 3 days, bedding and towels changed which was ideal.
Our teenagers slept on the sofa bed which was comfortable and we had a great view of the sea from the living room. The view from the bedroom was also lovely with a Basilica literally right outside our window. It was so nice to see to see the locals taking part in processions leading up to Easter and was quite moving/emotional.
The apartment was well placed for visiting the local towns of Amalfi, Atrani, Positano, Ravello and Miaori. We did a walk from Minori to Miaori along the 'Path of the Lemons' which we enjoyed. We took a bus from Amalfi to Ravello and then walked approx. 1000 steps back down to Minori which was great. The bus stops just outside (SITA) the apartment so is great for exploring. You can also get ferries from Amalfi to neighbouring towns - we got.the ferry to Positano which was perfect - the bus trip back was very full and bendy but it was an experience.
The swimming pool is a short walk up some steps and along a road but it is worth it as there were hardly any people there when we went - the view is amazing and is made even more beautiful with the lemon trees. The temperature of the water was good too.
We would definitely recommend this apartment - we had such a lovely time here and had some great experiences.
Amalfication were very helpful too.
