Ciliegia by Amalfivacation.it - Sea View, Few Steps from the Beach

  • Ciliegia es uno de los tres «Fruit Flats» (Ananas, Suite Fragola), todos en el mismo edificio, que también aparecen en VRBO.

    Ciliegia - «Fruit Flats» es un apartamento de un dormitorio con vistas al mar, situado en el centro de Minori y a un paso del mar (la gran playa de arena de Minori está justo al otro lado de la calle)

    La ubicación es perfecta: a 1 minuto andando de supermercados, tiendas, farmacia, bares y restaurantes; a 1 minuto andando de la playa, la parada de autobús y el ferry (los barcos funcionan de abril a octubre).

    Está muy bien comunicado por transporte público, así que puedes visitar fácilmente Amalfi, Positano, Ravello y Capri en autobús o en barco.

    La parada de taxis está a 1 minuto andando del edificio.

    Nápoles, Pompeya, Herculano y Paestum están a unas 1,30 h (más o menos) en coche desde Minori (aunque también se puede llegar en transporte público).

    Ciliegia cuenta con un dormitorio doble (con cama de matrimonio o dos camas individuales), un salón amplio y luminoso con zona de comedor y sofá cama doble, una cocina totalmente equipada y un baño decorado con azulejos de mayólica de Vietri.
    Tanto el dormitorio como el salón tienen unas vistas impresionantes al mar
    Las comodidades incluyen internet, aire acondicionado, calefacción, lavadora, lavavajillas, microondas, televisión y equipo de música.

    Ciliegia está en la cuarta planta de un edificio histórico; hay que subir 120 escalones para llegar a ella.

    Hay aparcamiento disponible a partir de 25 euros al día, aunque el precio puede variar según el tamaño del vehículo y la temporada;

    Política de confirmación:

    Para que la reserva quede confirmada definitivamente, hay que pagar un depósito del 50 % del importe total de la estancia (+ gastos de gestión) en el momento de hacer la reserva, a través del sistema de reservas de HOMEAWAY/VRBO.

    El importe restante se pagará a la llegada.
    El periodo de alquiler puede empezar y terminar cualquier día (según disponibilidad).

    Check-in: cualquier día de la semana de 14:30 a 20:30.
    Para llegadas entre las 20:30 y las 23:00, se cobrará un suplemento de 30 €.
    Para llegadas DESPUÉS de las 23:00 h, el recargo asciende a 50 €.
    La salida (cualquier día de la semana) es antes de las 10:00 h.
    Se puede acordar otra hora, según disponibilidad.

Everything about this property was great…except for the 124 steps to the top, but we knew that going in. It’s in the heart of Minori and near everything. The ferry is across the street next to the beach and the bus line stops right in front. We had everything we needed and more at the apartment with a view to die for. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Very happy with our unit .From the first contact with our hosts, we found the process and contact with them easy and informative. We enjoyed our 7days in this unit, very clean, comfortable, excellent ammenities, great views over beach and ocean. No more than 120 meters away to bus and ferries to all Amalfi coast towns including Capri.Great local restaurants and good stores.

The apartment was as advertised just steps off the beach. It’s in the top floor of an old apartment building with a view overlooking the Lido at Minori. The apartment looked brand new inside. Everything worked as advertised and was very very clean. Giuseppe was the person that checked us into the room and was very informative and recommended a few very good restaurants. Check in went flawlessly. We came from Ravello and we texted Lisa when we were leaving Amalfi on the bus and we were met at the bus stop as we left the bus in Minori.

This place is beautiful! Great views of the beach and phenomenal A/C (needed for the heatwave). Vincenzo and his staff were exceptionally prompt and helpful throughout the process

Beautiful Suite on the Amalfi Coast

Such an amazing suite in such a beautiful location. Vincenzo was so accommodating and Giuseppe, who met us there, was simply amazing. We couldn’t have been more happy.

Great location!

Minori is the perfect town to use as a quiet home base when exploring the Amalfi cost. This apartment has incredible views, a beautiful kitchen with a clothes washer, comfortable beds, all in a charming location right across from the beach. Be prepared for the five flights of stairs, however it is the most beautiful staircase you'll take in any kind of light. And be sure not to miss the hidden gem of a restaurant; Cuonc Cuonc!

Wonderful stay.

The apartment was perfect and we loved staying in Minori. Everything needed was in the apartment and Vicenzo and Franco gave us all the information needed. The view from the apartment is great and downstairs there is a a great bakery that provides wonderful breakfast. The dock to take the boat to the other towns is a 2 minute walk from the apartment and the boats are great to move around the area. We ate very well in the local restaurants and the people were very friendly. Minori is not as packed with tourists as the other towns are and it has a more local flavor.

Home away from home

We were met by Franco at the ferry who walked us to the apartment, only 5min away. The apartment was well laid out, stocked with wine and everything needed. Included a laundry machine and only steps from the beach. While the stairs was fine for us, it should be known the apartment is only accessible by 4 flights of stairs. Looking forward to coming back!

Minori Gem

What a delight it was to stay at this property. Guiseppe met us at the dock and took great care of us. The wine and treats were lovely and came in handy as we rushed out everyday to explore. Arranging transfer for us to Bomerano was greatly appreciated. The view was spectacular from the unit as depicted in the listing and the AC in every room was superb. Our trip was really made better with this experience. Minori was a perfect choice as well. It was quaint and authentic and quiet. Well done and thank you from Jacquie and Cynthia

The perfect little gem

Me and my sister had a wonderful stay in this lovely little gem that Minori is. The location couldn't have been better with the church, the beach and all small restaurants just outside our door. And so easy to take a bus or ferry wherever you want to go on your Amalfi adventure. Sure, it's crowded in Amalfi and on Capri but in Minori you just felt so relaxed and don't hesitate to walk the lemon trail or the trail up to Ravello even if you are not ine the best shape. As long as you take your time and don't hurry, you'll manage just fine and it's so worth it! The only thing we should have considered was the mosquitos (slept with the window open) ;D

Great location in Minori

Stayed in this apartment just recently for 2 weeks. Well equiped, clean and fresh and in a very central location in the beautiful town of Minori. Good base for touring as right beside bus stop for frequent sita bus. Only a few metres from the beach although we went to the pool most days as it is in a stunning setting and very quiet. Sal de Riso cafe is on the ground floor of the apartment building, so fabulous desserts every evening. The 124 steps up to the apartment will help work off the extra calories! Staff of amalfivacation very helpful. Would recommend this apartment

The apartment is in a perfect location, opposite the bus stop and located a 2 min walk from the Minori ferry port. The apartment has a variety of restaurants, bars and patisseries around it, the overall location couldn’t be faulted. The apartment is very clean, and spacious, it came with all the necessary amenities and a lovely welcome hamper including a local wine. The staff were extremely helpful and assisted us with our airport transfers but mainly Giuseppe! Giuseppe was always there to help, from providing us with the best recommendations to making our bookings on our behalf. He always checked on us and made sure we were comfortable in our stay, I could not thank him enough for the hospitality and helping us with our first trip to the Amalfi Coast! We had a lovely stay and recommend this apartment!

Fantastic hub for a stay in Almafi Coast

We stayed for over 2 weeks September into October. The apartment is lovely, clean and just what we needed. We made most of our breakfast and coffee in the apartment and ate most of our dinners out. The local restaurants in Minori were very affordable and the food was delicious. We did make few dinners in, and there was everything we needed to prepare including salt, pepper olive oil and vinegar. The views from the apartment are absolutely stunning. There are 4 sets of doors and windows and you never get tired of waking up to the views of the ocean. There is some traffic noise, but all you have to do is close up the doors and windows and it's fine. But as I'm sure you've seen in the other reviews, you must be warned about the 124 steps to the top floor. It is no joke. We carefully planned when we go out and be sure we have not forgotten anything! Minori does not have any steps in town, which is great, but you must account for those stairs. The host and his team were excellent, checking in regularly and stopping in to refresh towels and tidy up every few days. From this apartment, we successfully toured most of the Almafi Coast from Maiori all the way to Sorrento and Capri by bus and ferry. So very happy with our stay!

Excellent property - but few things to know

We have just come back from our trip to Minori and a stay in this wonderful apartment. It is beautifully positioned over looking the beach of minori and only 2 mins walk from most amenities, cafe, bar, restaurants, tourist information, bus stops, ferry port, etc. The property is maintained to a very high standard, very clean and the towels are changed every three days (if you are staying at least 6). So the property itself could not be better located and the people are delightful to deal with both by email and in person. They are very helpful. Finally there is the access to the infinity pool which is a few minutes walk away. This was such an added bonus, because even though the sea is only 100 metres away it is cold and often crowded whereas the pool is neither; and the views are stunning. The only reasons I have not scored this 5 stars are for the following reasons: 1, It is up 128 steps - which for many able bodied is fine but you should bare that in mind if you struggle with this. We knew this is in advance of course - it was not a surprise - however it does make you think about leaving the apartment and going back again. Just something to bare in mind. 2, We found the beds a little hard for our taste - but again this is a minor point. 3, The thing that knocked it from a 5 to 4 star review is simply the noise. Even with the windows shut there is a lot of noise from the main road at night. 4, Furthermore, we had some issues with noisy neighbours while we were there (it was only on one night and they calmed down reasonably quickly). So overall we loved the place and we would be more than happy go back again in the future - albeit perhaps with better quality ear plugs. But please don't let these minor items put you off going. We have just had a very lovely week and the small downsides are more than easily outweighed by the many, many plus points.

This property is located steps from the beach - doesn't get better than that. The condo was clean, bright, and well set up. We will definitely return!

Fantastic stay with even better view

Such a lovely stay! Hosts were quick to respond, friendly and accommodating. The place has the most amazing view and is fitted with all we could need. There are quite a few stairs but it’s so worth it for the view! Would recommend this place to everyone!

Minori is perfect and the apartment location ideal

The location is spot on. Minori has the benefits of tourism, restaurants and services, without feeling over run. Local shops provide amazing food including freshly made pasta; locals frequent excellent fried sea food and a great takeaway pasta place as well as pizza and, of course, there is the famous patisserie. The beach was never too busy and the swimming lovely. Access to the rest of the Amalfi coast is easy by bus or boat, although the bus may take a little longer than advertised! The apartment is tight for four but views were fantastic. It was clean and the staff helpful. The stairs are a challenge but everywhere is upstairs from the sea! The access to the pool was a great asset. The views are superb from there and it was a highlight lying in a lounger looking out while the kids played in the pool. We found it quicker and easier to walk than get the bus although walking on the road, even for a short distance, is a bit scary! The gardens at Ravello are not to be missed for breathtaking beauty and the walk back to Minori was lovely too, if you have strong knees! Would love to return soon.

Staying here was the best decision we made on our trip! The location is perfect, the view was incredible and the staff of Amalfi Vacations were fantastic to work with.

Excellent experience.

From the beginning, after we arrived In a different town, Vincenzo walk me through how to get to our destination. And been helpful ever since. We had outstanding stay, in the best location in town. Beautiful views right in front of the beach.The restaurant below our hotel, was the best food we had whole time in Amalfi. We loved our family night walks through the narrow streets of Italy, in beautiful town of Minori. It was my mother's favourite stay destination in Amalfi Coast. We would defiantly, stay there again and recommend it to everyone.

Very nice property !!

The place was fantastic.Really nice apartment, spectacular views, well appointed, fast wifi, great hosts who are very friendly. When we got there they met us outside, showed us where to park. Because it was a few minutes walk from parking to the apartment, he walked with us & brought us to the unit. Carried our luggage up the 5 flights of stairs for us ( which is a workout when going to & from ). The allowed us to use the infinity pool on their other property which was amazing !!! Perched on a hill side overlooking the ocean. It's a must see. We will definitely return & 100% recommend the property & hosts !
