AMAZING Stay!

We had a fantastic stay! Courtney was a wonderful host: responsive and accommodating. Miramar Star was exactly as described: central location to everything and no detailed missed in the condo. The golf cart was so fun and a must, but we did plenty of walking around the beautiful grounds. Felt like home away from home. We will DEFINITELY be back! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

All the extras you never thought you needed!

Courtney might be my long lost twin...separated at birth. I always pack a bin of random things for our vacations. Things like batteries, wine opener, little plug in night lights, my travel k cup coffee maker and extension cords. The condo had ALL OF THIS! All of my little "emergency necessities" were already there! This condo was crazy clean. Not just smelling clean... it was clean. We bring our own pillows (we are pillow snobs) but the bed pillows were amazing. Loved that there were lightweight quilts on the beds as the bedspread (instead of heavy comforters) because I know they had just been washed. Fridge was clean, appliances all worked well. Golf cart was a must have and the kids enjoying riding around with us while we explored. This was our first time not physically staying on the beach and the golf cart made it fun! We spent a lot of time in Baytown Wharf with our 9 year old twins. Some staffing issues there presented longer wait times or a few things being closed, but that is our world right now and we are thankful we got to travel at all. Grounds are well maintained and there are several heated pools to choose from. I highly recommend this condo unit or probably any others that Courtney has! She was very easy to work with and I bugged her far more than I should have, 😉 for kid friendly recommendations! The guide book she created was well thought out and has everything you need to know. We had a great vacation with one major complaint...... Our trip ended too soon. 😢

Fantastic!

We had a great time! Courtney was very helpful and made everything easy. The condo was perfect and the grandkids love the golf cart! The location was great, we could get to anything we needed on the golf cart! We can’t wait to go back!

Super convenient to everything you love!

It was very easy and convenient to book this property! This is the best centrally located area to stay in while at Sandestin; from the beach, great pools, Publix grocery store, shopping and restaurants.

Fabulous condo in fabulous location!

Super cute condo in an awesome location! Loved our bay view! The golf cart was an added bonus to get around the beautiful grounds of Sandestin. We had the best time and Courtney was the best host!

Paradise with a View.

There is not enough room on here to paint the picture of this unit and the Owners. The Home was Beautiful and extremely clean still smell new. We have been coming to Sandestin for ten year and have stayed in just about all the Neighborhoods. This Unit Everything was above and beyond what we expected. I would and will recommend this unit to everyone. The Owners were helpful and Friendly. Great People and great Place!!!!

Bayside Retreat

We would definitely rent this condo again! We never really left the property. Morning coffee on the screened in porch looking out onto the bay was the mot relaxing way to start the day! Located towards the front of Bayside, beach access was a short golf cart ride away. At night we took the golf cart to the Baytown area for dinner and activities. Our kids really enjoyed the ropes course and arcade, followed by a visit to the ice cream shop next door. The condo itself provided enough space for our family of 5, and the owner was gracious enough to stock several helpful household essentials, such as extra garbage bags, detergent pods, Clorox wipes, paper towels, hand soap, salt/pepper, and coffee! She was very responsive and accessible before and during our stay. I would definitely recommend this property!

Excellent Stay, Golf Cart Makes it A+++

We had a fantastic time at Miramar Star. It was verh clean and spacious enough for our family of 6 without feeling crowded. Everything is still very new and in excellent condition. Courtney is amazingly available and willing to make your stay as excellent as possible. I'll make a few notes of things that are helpful to know below: 1. You have a nice view of the bay and marina. It's a very pretty view for coffee drinking. There isn't bay access from the condo, as an FYI. It's a marshy kind of location with tons of reeds/grass. Great wildlife and bird watching though. 2. The golf cart makes all the difference. We WERE able to get all 6 onto the cart with our stuff (boogie boards) and sand toys but my youngest 2 are toddlers that could lap sit. If you have 6 big people, it will take two trips. 3. The beach is a 5 minute ride and Baytowne Warf is a 3 minute ride on the golf cart. We visited the warf several times. Between the cart and grocery delivery with shipt, we never had to drive my car once we arrived, which we loved. 4. There's a great pier right down from the condo that has great sunrise views and fishing. Tons of running paths as well and a boardwalk through a portion of the woods. Also, there's an island right down from the condo that is excellent for Nature exploration and quiet reflection. 5. The description does not extra insulation as this is a downstairs location and there's a condo above. That may the case but you do still hear everything upstairs. So bring a sound machine for your mappers to drown out kids running over your head. 6. Pet peeve: I hate to be asked to strip a bed at checkout. I almost knocked a star off and if I could to 4.5, I would have. I don't mind loading the dishwasher or piling towels but I don't want to strip beds when I pay a chunk for a cleaning fee after I've already cleaned our messes up and just packed 5 million items into a car. Just a personal irritant there. 7. Great view of the bay for fireworks as well! 8. Courtney responded that the beach is private. That's an "ish". Really anyone can park or drive or walk to that beach. It was extremely crowded (labor day weekend). This isn't on her but be aware: Despite signage, if you pay for chairs, people will set up 3 rows deep in front of you. So bring ur own and come early.

Great option if staying in Sandestin

This condo was in a great location. Not far from the main gate, leaving it only a few minutes to ride via golf cart to the beach, to restaurants, and to Baytown wharf etc. To be closer to any one of those would put you farther from the rest. Access to a good golf cart as a must, as are seatbelts if you have kids, which this owner’s cary has. Could not be more pleased with communication from host (before booking, leading up to trip, during stay, etc). We had everything we needed for a family of 4, which was great since we flew in (ie couldn’t pack like we do when driving to the beach). View from master/porch is so pretty, and great for view all the fireworks (but with less noise).

Miramar Star for the Win!!

FIVE ENTHUSIASTIC STARS! Our family wanted a special getaway that was easy on us with two young children. "Miramar Star" was perfect - it was close to everything in Sandestin but very quiet for those much needed naps. This condo has everything including a pack-n-play and toddler seat, but when it came to the kids, our favorite thing was the seatbelts in the back seat of the golf cart. Our 3-year old fell asleep back there on the way back from Baytowne Wharf and it felt great to know he was safe next to me, safely strapped in. I noticed most carts down there don't have seatbelts in the back - and we would not have thought of that but will now! The kitchen and laundry has EVERYTHING you'll need (paper towels, salt/pepper, plastic storing containers, detergent, dryer sheets) and the bathroom soaps, cocktail mixing tools, high-end pots and pans, and recipe books were nice added touches. "Miramar Star" really felt like a home away from home!

FIVE STAR! Beautiful, Clean, Amazing Location with Golf Cart and Bikes!

This place was amazing. We are already planning our next trip and will stay here again! When we walked in the door- we all breathed in a sigh of relief. This place was exactly as described - actually better. Everything was sparkling clean, and the host really did a nice job of thinking of our needs. The kitchen was fully stocked for everything we needed to make our first meal at our new home away from home. There were also many fun and useful touches, such as a personalized recipe and drink menu and bar cart. We were so thankful to be able to enjoy a cocktail on the patio each night to unwind. Exactly what a vacation should be! The furnishings were all very clean, and there was more than enough room for all of us to be comfortable. The host also provided very high end bathroom products - which made it feel even more like a luxury vacation for us! But the best part of our stay had to be the location, and the amenities provided to get around. Not only did the host provide bikes which we could ride all around the property, but a brand new golf cart was also delivered the week of our stay. We made so many fun memories driving the golf cart around. We especially enjoyed watching the sunset from the golf cart each night. The location was also very close to the beach -even though it was a bit too cold for us to swim (we will be back in the Summer)! There was also a wonderful entertainment area within the same property that we drove the golf cart to each day. Baytowne Wharf had shopping, restaurants, and a ton of stuff for our young daughter to do. She especially loved the Merry Go Round and the Arcade. Thank you, Miramar Star. You truly provided us one of the best vacations we have ever had. We cannot wait to return!
