Family Vacation - July 2024

The house was as described and expected. The location is fantastic and the use of the golf cart is a great amenity. The house lacked basics that have been stocked in other VRBOs that we have stayed in - salt, pepper, etc. The refrigerator didn’t work well for the 1st few days. It took a number of calls to the property manager to get it resolved. Unfortunately, we lost some food due to the lack of cooling. Ultimately they made the repair. I would recommend staying at this property.

No golf cart as advertised

Our decision to stay on the beachside vs bay side was based 100% on the main picture. (6 Person golf cart included) We could have been directly on the beach for the price we paid for a random house miles from the beach with no golf cart. I’ve rented houses/townhouses in Sandestin for the past 10 years and never had a problem. There was no call prior saying there was a problem with golf cart, and the property manager said they could not switch us to another property. My family /kids were disappointed directly after checking in. (Again.. this was the main reason we chose this property) We enjoy cruising around the community and going to the beach on a golf cart. In the end “My Vacation Haven” (The property manager) said the owner felt horrible and gave us a $200.00 refund. Absolutely pitiful. That is not even 10% of what we paid. I would 100% not choose this property or any My Vacation Haven properties.

Great location

The house is well suited for a family getaway. We had 10 and the home is large enough to have separate spaces with 2 living rooms, the bunk room is a little small but for littles it works fine. The golf car is very new and very nice making it easy to get around the resort without a car and even down to the beach. There are also plenty of beach chairs, a beach umbrella, skim boards and beach cart there. Over all no complaints for a home off the beach with plenty of amenities. Also even with 10 people we always had a hot shower.

Great place, great time!

We had a great time, understand the full community before you go so you can take full advantage of all amenities. Best parts: The beach and 4th of July celebration were fantastic; fireworks, food and fun. Worst parts: Larger homes had 2 golf carts, we had 1, 6 seater for 9 people so we had to take a vehicle either way. The golf cart was outdated, needed new suspension and brakes, no radio like others carts If you are looking to cook some meals you will have to piece together the utensils and supplies to do such. Kitchen wasn't well equipped. Overall a 4.7 out of 5 ... great vacation, great home, wonderful community

Wonderful Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sandestin and loved the house that we called home for a week! The golf cart allowed us to explore the resort and all of its beauty. The Village of Baytowne Wharf was so much fun & such a neat place! Everything went smoothly from arrival to departure. We would definitely stay again!

My family and I have stayed in this particular neighborhood for the 5 years and we love love it. My kids make themselves at home and enjoy. My husband even relax. I am a repeat offender for this beautiful area. We will be back. Thanks

Family Beach Week on 30A

Fabulous week in a beautiful neighborhood. Only 2 problems. We had 6 adults and 2 kids. With chairs and cooler we couldn’t all fit on the golf cart. Tried to rent a second golf cart but we could not because we were not the owner of the house. We had 3 cars. We read on website that overflow parking was at pool number 2. My daughter parked there and got a citation/ warning saying no overnight parking. The 12 minute golf cart ride to the Beach Club was beautiful along the golf course with beautiful homes and water features. The kids loved the water park in the ocean. The adults enjoyed Happy Hour at the Beach Club. Miramar is a beautiful beach but more crowded than we are used to. Happy to have the bikes provided but surprised there were not helmets. Happy to have plenty of beach chairs too. Baytown Wharf was great. Great restaurants and activities for kids. Ours are 11 and they found enough to do. We go to a different beach on 30 A every summer and Miramar did not disappoint. Thanks for a fun time. In a beautiful area.

Great house

We enjoyed our stay here - it was very comfortable for 8 adults. The golf cart made every day more fun! There are 3 bikes there as well. Kitchen was pretty well stocked and linens/beds were VERY comfortable. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Quiet location but close to so much!

I found this as a last minute stay and was not disappointed. We loved this property and the location was perfect! Our granddaughter loved the community pool but especially the golf cart that fit all six of us. We’ll definitely be back!

Great property! Booking was easy, check in was simple. We checked in a little early and they showed up within minutes to check on us. The walls were a little thin so I was worried about the noise, but we were loud a few nights playing trivia and no one complained. It could use a few more bowls and pots and pans for cooking but the overall stay was perfect. The golf cart was great for exploring the resort and going to the beach. I would definitely recommend this property and most most definitely recommend using my vacation haven.

Perfect Week!
