We have stayed at Cibony before and absolutely loved it. The condos are always clean and quiet definitely a great place to relaxe. The beach was beautiful as always but the water was a little rough this year but that was ok, we spent a lot of time in the pool. Cant wait till next year.

Black hairs all over shower & main bed upon arrival. Beach chairs old, one broken, no umbrella. Was not given correct code for gate to beach. Drain in kitchen stopped up & maintenance fix not respond until late evening. Way overpriced!! B

Condo needs better drapes for privacy in master bedroom that leads to large outdoor patio. Headlights from parking garage across the property did not make it enjoyable to relax at night. Nice unit that has everything needed for a good vacation.

Retirement Celebration

This listing was exactly as described. Very nicely decorated (although we won’t recommend for families glass tables and some lovely vases and decor, with a lovely leather couch). These owners have outdone themselves there is definitely pride in ownership. Perfect for two mature adults getting ready to transition into a different lifestyle. The only negative we encountered was such an early check out 900 with no room for negotiation for even an hour. This is the first time we ran into this. Also we were not aware when you book through VRBO you will get an additional email requesting information through the management company. Haven’t had that before either and didn’t see warning of that on VRBO site. But the place was lovely!!!

We love our stay here. You are closed to everything and easy beach access. The only down side I had was we was gave the wrong beach code and I messaged the number provided at 9 am and didn’t get a response back till after 12. Thank goodness for other people that gave us the code so we could go enjoy the beach.

Pretty nice condo

Probably the best decorated and furnished condo we've had at Ciboney. Needs a coffee table in the living room though. The unit is all the way on the pool end, so it almost doubles the walk to the beach. Not a big deal. As of the time of this review, this unit does not offer complimentary beach service (reservered umbrella and chairs on the beach). They offer chairs and an umbrella that can be transported to the beach by you. I overlooked this when booking because I thought all Ciboney condos offered this service. Will pay closer attention next time. Beach service is $60 a day. My wife and I aren't schlepping chairs and an umbrella to the beach every day. Property Management is very responsive. Also the thermostat in the condo was locked at 68 degrees, which is freezing to us. They could have saved money if they would allow us to adjust it ourselves. If you can live with the things I described, its a really nice condo.

Close to the beach

The condo was nicely updated and clean. Being a ground floor condo made entry really easy and covenient for carting beach gear. I have a lot. The location was perfect. It is about a 2 minute walk to the beach. I would not hesitate to stay here again

Nice clean property, close to beach and pool. Quiet, everything as listed in photos. Wish there were a few more washcloths and the pool was cold and was supposed to be heated during spring break. Granddaughters were a little disappointed.

This is not the place we stayed at. We stayed at Seascape complex on 2nd floor.

We were booted out of the place we originally booked last year and paid in full. The place we booked, was a lower level and closer to the beach, they said the reason we did not get this place, because they had construction on it. The reason we got the original place because my sister was with us and she recently had hip surgery, it was closer to the beach and did not have steps. We also had other family members that met us at the original place, which was not convenient for us & them. The place we ended up getting, was very nice, clean & a beautiful place on the golf course although it was not what we wanted for the reasons mentioned. This is not the first time we have been moved to a different location on short notice and ended up taking what they gave us, because that was "available".

Mother/daughter trip

My daughter and I enjoyed our week in Destin. My only complaints would be the curtain in the master bedroom was see through and not blackout like all the other curtains in the condo. I was also awaken at 2 am one morning by water from the sprinkler system hitting the furniture on the back landing of the condo. It kept me awake for more than 2 hours! I would recommend better curtains for the master bedroom and resetting the sprinkler system so that guests can enjoy a restful nights sleep! We were overall pleased with our stay and would recommend the condo to our friends and family.
