Great Spring Break Stay with a Few Easy Fixes

This was our second spring break at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, but our first time staying in the Bungalow Neighborhood. The check in process was smooth as always, the location of the She She’d was ideal - it’s the very first house on the left as you enter the neighborhood. The pool was just a short walk away and heated, which was a great bonus given the cooler spring temperatures. One downside was that this neighborhood doesn’t have a fitness center, which was disappointing. This is no reflection on Pinkie, but we do think the cleaning crew might want to give this home a little extra love and attention. Overall, the house felt like it could really use a good deep clean. We were SO excited to stay here - the photos online and the reviews made us feel very comfortable booking this home for our family of six from a far - but once we settled in, we noticed some issues. We found broken glass on the kitchen floor around the fridge while sweeping, the baseboard and curtains were covered in dust, almost like the home hadn’t been touched in for a while. Having two small children the cleanliness of a vacation rental is my first priority as a mom. One last small request - please consider adding a pizza cutter to the kitchen supplies. That said, we still had a wonderful stay and the opportunity to spend another spring break in such a beautiful area. We are already looking for the perfect vacation home for next year!

Family Summer Vacation Getaway

Great for our family, all the needs and very well furnished. Incredibly clean, comfortable beds and furniture all the beach needs in closets. Golf cart was great to get around.

Sea Shed Stay

Great experience. Beautiful clean home. Convenient beach access in a great neighborhood. Plenty to do for children 3-14 and adults. House was well stocked with all necessities plus some major conveniences. Check-In and process for maximizing the experience was superior to most due to very thorough communication and a downloadable resource for the property. Highly recommend.

Our Family Beach Getaway

Cute…. BUT beware

The home was well appointed and looked attractive but there were some BIG cleanliness issues. The floor was filthy! The bathroom toilet's had yellow (stuff) on them from not being properly cleaned, and the kitchen counters had crumbs on them. The golf cart would go pretty fast ( which was great), but only had one headlight working and the breaks squealed loudly. The A/C on the first floor went out Monday afternoon and we didn’t check out until Tuesday. I called Pinkie Flamingos ( the rental agency)Monday morning and left a voicemail asking her to call me back and then emailed her later that day as well and its been 48 hours and still NO reply. We won’t rent from them again!

Best Vacation Ever

I was hesitant about booking this house due to it not being on the water, we’ve never stayed with no view, but we were very happily surprised. The house was clean, stylish, and comfortable. The golf cart was an amazing addition to serve as free entertainment for afternoon rides for our family. The pool was quiet and perfect depth and size for all ages. We have always loved Baytown, so this convenience was an added bonus. Parking for the beach was easy and not a very far walk. When going to the beach during peak season I would suggest getting up early and putting out your chairs as the beach is packed, but this didn’t bother us and we made new friends daily. We will definitely be visiting the Sea Shed again. My kids are still saying how much they miss the house and beach.

Cozy Cottage

Although it was cozy, it was very spacious. We loved the experience and I would definitely go again. There is only 1 thing I would change, it's not necessarily a complaint, but the cleaning product they use sort of has an industrial flare to it, so it has a pretty strong disinfectant odor. There was a pleasant scented candle so we lit that a few times. Once you're in there for a few minutes, you don't notice it. It really is a lovely setting though!

Family Vacation

We really enjoyed our time at Miramar Beach Florida. Our rental house in Sandestin was wonderful. My family and I enjoyed the house and the location. The house was just as pictured on Vrbo and very clean and comfortable. Check in and out we’re easy and we had all that we needed inside. We will be back. 😊

She Shed

very nice, comfortable, and a beautiful community. the golf cart was a great addition. tram passes would have been nice and the flyer given for She Shed said there were 3 tram passes available but when I questioned it I was told we didn't get them since we had a golf cart.

Couldn't be happier

Don't even know where to begin. We had a blast. Communication with the host was excellent. Location was beautiful. Check in was smooth and effortless. House was clean. Great appliances. Golf cart was clean and charged. Just couldn't ask for anything more. Cant wait to do it again next year

Love the Bungalows!

Third summer we’ve stayed in the Bungalows and it’s perfect. Had some trouble with the dishwasher not working but EVERYTHING about our stay was wonderful. The Sea Shed is highly recommended!
