The unit was good and the beds were comfy. I found dishes to be dirty and there wasn’t enough silverware, coffee cups etc. The golf cart is a huge addition for this area. The brakes went out at the end of our trip and hopefully can be repaired before the next guests. The steering was also very tight in the golf cart. Overall we loved the Sandestin resort and beaches.

Overall our stay was great! Check-in was super easy, no issues with the WiFi, the golf cart was super handy, we all had a great time. My only minor complaint was the hot water in the master shower didn’t get very hot but there are 2 other showers, so it wasn’t a big deal for us. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Love this place!!

This place is the most perfect place in Florida this is my second time staying. We have stayed here and the place next door two summers in a row! It’s clean, close to the beach, pool is amazing and we love the shopping village can’t wait to come back next summer! Host is very accommodating and responds quickly!!

Nice getaway!

So me and my kids love the beach, my husband is not a fan. This is perfect, he was able to enjoy activities while we took the golf cart to the beach. Our three teenagers enjoyed the freedom of being able to go and eat and because we felt safe we did not have to go with them. Lots to do in the area! We will be back.

I will start by saying that the property was definitely adequate for my family's needs. It was extremely spacious, and clean. The TVs shown in the photos, are not indicative to the sizes of the ones in the house...they are much smaller. Also, if planning to stay at this place, be sure to bring toilet paper! We were definitely aware that all items needed for our existence during the stay needed to be provided by us. However, in all the places I have stayed in over the years, toilet paper was never an issue. Whatever you do, do not plan on getting in town on an earlier flight. there is nowhere on the premises to store your luggage, and no provisions are made for this purpose. We had to pay a service to watch our bags, and find ways to occupy ourselves until precisely 4:00 PM when we were allowed in the unit. Which, by the way, was still delayed because our code was not working initially. Beach Blue Properties customer service was "hot & cold". We either got the rude person, or the nice person. Only on ONE such occasion did I speak to a nice rep. The other times the rep was very dismissive, and non-empathetic to our concerns. Again, despite the bad customer service, my family enjoyed the experience of the community. The golf cart was a phenomenal PLUS. I highly recommend this area of Florida, and will definitely go back. I will not stay in a property managed by Beach Blue Properties ever again.

Family Vacay

Very nice location inside gated Sand Destin. Felt very safe on this property and enjoyed walking the grounds and scenery. Condo was very clean. Only issue was wifi kept going on and off and we had to reset the router several times but that’s a wifi company issue, not owner issue. Loved the lake in backyard with turtles and golf cart made it easy to enjoy all Sand Destin amenities.

Spring Break Family Vacation

The house we stayed in worked out great for me, my husband and 3 kids(7 year old, 3 year old, 8 month old). It is in a great location, located close to everything around. The golf cart was awesome to have to get to the beach, Baytowne, the pool, restaurants, grocery store. We did have an issue with a flat tire with the golf cart but the property manager had someone come instantly to have that fixed. The house comes with a shed full of beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrella and kid floaties. My kids enjoyed the turtles at the pond out back. The twin bed was great but I would say the top bunk is a little too close to the ceiling. My 7 year old said he easily kept hitting his head on the ceiling if he wasn’t careful. He ended up sleeping on the bottom full size bed towards the end of the trip. All in all we really liked this house and it worked out well for our family.

Unit needs upggrading

The unit is for sale and i think the owner don’t want to put money in upgrading the unit. Kitchen was lacking many things such as oven mits, pizza cutter, sharp knives, pasta drainer, etc. Both upstair baths are very old. If you are there for a week or two it’s fine but not for longer stay. Windows are not working and the wind goes through the patio door in the living room. On the bright side, Blue Beach Vacations are really great, they resolve any problems really fast and efficiently.

Very unclean

Upon arrival after traveling for 14 hours, I instantly noticed that the house was not properly cleaned. The fans were coated in dust. The lamps, TVs and dressers and under the beds were coated in dust. Inside the vanity drawers were tons of hairs. Dirt and food on doors cabinets and kitchen table. I called and the next day they had a lady come out to “clean what I wasn’t happy with” The lady they sent even said that the place needed a deep clean badly and that the person that cleaned needed to come back and redo the whole place. The pullout bed mattress cover was covered in hair and dirt and under that was another cover and it was covered in smashed chocolate chips. The loft bed was not stable and my kids did not feel safe sleeping in it. There was an outlet cover with no face on it and another outlet cover not properly covered. There was a massive wad of hair in the shower. We have stayed in Baytown 3 years in a row and we have never been unsatisfied Until this trip. We have used vrbo multiple times and we have never been unhappy until now. The small dresser in the kids room was very unstable and fell on my 7 year old son hurting his shoulder and it also fell on my 11 year old daughter and the tv fell off and broke. When I texted and emailed about the dresser, I received not one response, but while we were gone some one came and strapped the dresser to the wall. All of our belongings were in there and we were not even contacted about the person that would be coming. We would have liked to be there or just to be made aware that someone was coming in. Not once did we get an apology for The condition of the property. The cleaning manager said I’m really shocked bc we have never received a complaint about the person that cleaned your property. Also the lady they sent to “clean” brought a bottle of spray and one rag with her. She did not reclean the property. She wiped the drawers and some dirt from a wall that I showed her. The food chunks were still left on the table and on the cabinets. Very disappointed with beach blue. We will never use beach blue again.

Nice little villa

This little villa is absolutely adorable. It’s perfect for a small family but not a large group. Love the sunken living room. The golf cart was nice as it’s an absolute must for us when we stay in Sandestin. Bring your own seasonings/spices if you’re cooking. Back porch is nice overlooking the pond. The only negative was the guy next door was outside smoking nonstop so we couldn’t really enjoy the back. You’re so close to the neighbor, it’s almost like sharing the back yard. Otherwise, perfect little place for a quick getaway for our party of 3.

Lovely place

Very well decorated, super clean, great area. Management was very responsive to a small issue. NOTE: the twin-over-full bunk in the second bedroom is very cute, but the top twin bed is not useable. It is way too close to the ceiling. Had to use the sofa bed instead.
