Galileo was a perfect house for pur family trip

Beautiful property and gated community. Right off the main road from Miramar Beach. Anything you could need or want within a few miles. Would love to come here again.

It was exactly as the pictures showed. We needed more toilet tissue. There was sand in one bed when we got there. The garage was a mess. It wasn’t anything that we couldn’t deal with, but it just needed a little shine. Overall we would go back.

Great place to stay

We had a wonderful stay. The beach is literally across the street, beautiful white sand. The house was very accommodating for our group. Was stocked with plenty of dishes, cookware, etc. The toiletries, hand soap, dish soap things of that nature were somewhat lacking. We ended up picking up things at the store and left them behind for the next renters. Pool and hot tub were decent. The gated neighborhood was pretty small and quiet. It also seemed like a pretty safe place to be. We didn’t mind the kids going down to Alvin’s beach shop after dark. Everything you would need is within a mile of the house. Management was prompt and responsive as we decided to come a day early. I would recommend this place for larger families. We would stay there again if we ever come back to Destin.

Beautiful house

The house is lovely and the large fenced in back yard was a plus. We rented this house during the coldest temperatures in the past 30 years. When you rent in the winter the weather is a dice shoot. We stayed inside longer than usual so it was nice to have so much room to gather watch television and play games. The house is across from the beach with beautiful views. We would definitely rent again.

We had an awesome time at this rental property. Ocean Reef was great to work with and kept us updated as to what to do. The property was as stated on VRBO. Very clean and had everything we needed. Great view and short walk to beach! Would definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful House!

This is our second stay at this property. The house was very clean & well kept up. We had no issues with checking in upon arrival, everything went smoothly. All supplies needed were furnished. WI-FI was great this time (still have to get a little work in during vacation!) I will say there was construction going on during our entire stay. The gates to the neighborhood were open for the duration of our stay. There were also numerous small children in the hot tub 24/7, so we couldn’t utilize that like we had hoped. This is in no way the fault of Ocean Reef, but I did want to mention it. We had a wonderful time & will definitely be back in the future!

AT THE BEACH

THIS PROPERTY WAS BEAUTIFUL ! LOVED THE SPANISH STYLE OF THE HOUSES AND ENTERIOR OF THE RENTAL WE STAYED IN ! THE RENTAL WHERE WE STAYED NEEDED SOME TLC BUT EVERYTHING WAS COMFORTABLE DURING OUR STAY ! ALSO ; SOME OF THE HOUSES WERE IN NEED OF REPAIR ! THEY WERE WORKING ON A COUPLE OF THE PROPERTIES ! THE POOL AREA WAS CLEAN AND BEAUTIFUL ! WE WERE ACROSS FROM THE BEACH WAS A PLUS FOR OUR DAUGHTER & GRANDSON WHO LOVED THE SHORT WALK ! OUR STAY WAS WONDERFUL ! THANK YOU

This house was amazing. We had absolutely no problems with the property except a few minor things. Gate to neighborhood wasn’t functioning at all times so when closed had to enter through the open exit gate. The bathroom outlets in the master weren’t working but hair tools was able to reach from bedroom outlet & the master bedroom curtain was falling off of curtain clips & I wasn’t tall enough to reach it to fix it so it allowed for more morning light in. House was just a short walk to beach access. Me & my family enjoyed our stay & would highly recommend.

Good Overall

We had a rocky start to our stay due to noisy neighbors who were loud past midnight first two nights and a maintenance issue that was not resolved till two days after we requested service. There seemed to be a lack of urgency on getting our issue resolved. Other than that, the rest of our stay was good. It's in a great location and a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again on future family trips.

House is falling apart

Home is falling apart. Stair handrails are in dangerous shape. They move and when you hold them and the master bedroom is in really bad shape makes all kind of noise with the littlest movement.

Family vacation that left it’s Mark!

We were super pleased with the property, the location to the beach and it’s easy access. The beach was amazing white sands and beautiful emerald water. This trip left its mark on the whole family. Lord willing we will be back next year and try to secure this same property! Thank you for such a blessed time together.

Great customer service

However the home definitely needs updating. A beautiful home like this and price you have expectations and these were not meet. The toilet was not working, the upstairs ac unit was not working, the dryer does not work properly. The dining room chair upholstery needs to be replaced. It has had its use and is now worn out. One of the outside chairs fell apart when only touching. Customer service was great in getting the AC unit and toilet fixed. They even offered to clean dining chairs but I told them they are just expired. One of the sinks in upstairs master would not drain so we had to take out the plug and just put it to side so the sink would work. The living room rug was dirty, the couches are cracked and worn. This is a beautiful home, Nice yard, great neighborhood, this place needs some care however. Thank you

Italian Villa in Miramar

This property is currently listed for sale the interior is in need of some TLC. Needs new Master Bedroom Mattress,Curtains and outdoor furniture. I feel this is due to the fact the property has been on the market for a bit and getting a little neglected. ALL THE GOOD POINTS: LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION along with being in a gated community which is gorgeous. 5 minute walk to be on a beautiful beach with Umbrella rentals and a walk up bar at Surf Hut. Spacious Home , but as I said needs a little TLC. Due to the bedroom floor plan suitable for 2 families as there are only 2 full baths . 1 Bath ground level, 1/2 bath living room/kitchen level, One Master bath shared with a small secondary sleeping room ( for kids ) Overall it was a great place, if you are supper picky this is not for you.

Family Friendly

It had plenty of space for our family. Short walk to the beach. Nice pool. The grill was really dirty but we cleaned it and used it. Only Suggestion is need more plates and cups. We bought disposable so we could eat dinner together. But overall it was nice. I would recommend specially with a large group.

Good location

The home is in a good location (loud at night due to hotel parking lot directly next door) and there are items that need attention or replacing/updating: kitchen pans and tools, mattresses, couches, lightbulbs burned out and pillows. Had a few minor issues to its property management responded to within the hour which was awesome. We only used three of the bedrooms (the one room on the upper floor has to share the master bathroom) so the layout was perfect for us and loved the fenced yard. It was an easy walk to the beach and enjoyed using the small wagon provided In garage. The property is for sale so maybe ownership is not that concerned about the overall condition from a rental standpoint from some of the items I mentioned which is why I couldn’t give it five stars.
