Summer Vacay
Our first impression was not good as we walked up to the front door. The gas grill was next to the door. The front patio was full of water toys, beach chairs, inflatables, golf cart cover, etc. It was junky looking compared to the other villas. The beach flag that was for decoration was ripped and a bit of trash was in the bushes. The property was “updated” in a less than ideal way. There were unfinished edges, patches of unmatched paint, and it made the villa look cheap. The second bedroom had no ceiling light or fan. With the Florida heat, we really needed circulation in that room. The blinds were not correctly fitted for the window, so light was constantly shining in the room adding heat and at night we were afraid to change clothes because people could see in. The patio furniture consisted of 4 iron chairs and a table. The iron chairs had no seat cushions and were very uncomfortable to sit and enjoy morning coffee. The small patio does face a lake. The end of the lake we were facing was full of moss/algea and some trash. We stayed 7 nights and the trash was there the entire time. The parking situation was a nightmare. You only get one spot, but it’s difficult to find a place to park. You aren’t guaranteed a spot. The golf cart was a plus and we used it daily. I would not stay at the particular villa again.
