Very comfortable beds, all the essentials you need in a kitchen to cook, and the golf cart was a bonus to get around so easily. Getting to the Village and Beach was convenient. I highly recommend staying here!

Great Vacation in Sandestin

Perfectly located and the golf cart made it very easy to get around to the beach, nearby restaurants, etc.... It was exactly as advertised online and property was very clean and well laid out. We have stayed in Sandestin many times and this was one of our favorite spots. Only improvement maybe would be better labeling the golf cart, we had to go on a small scavenger hunt to find it and when we did it was covered in pollem and debris so we had to clean off seats before we could use it. This was not a major deal though and we will certainly be back.

However, the golf cart needs some maintenance-it is very loud, squeaky, and bouncy! The clothes dryer could also use a little work - it allows you to open the door but keeps spinning and running without turning off automatically, which is a hazard! Overall, the property is nice though and we would stay here again!

Great Location

This property was perfect for our family vacation. The overall size, the bedrooms, and especially the kitchen. The location ended up being better than expected. It’s just a few minutes on the golf cart to Baytowne, the Marina, the zero entry heated pool(more on that later); and 5 minutes to the grocery store/restaurants. The check in and out process was easy; probably the easiest one we’ve had. Our stay had up and down temperatures. The close proximity of the heated pool was so nice as it allowed our kids to still swim even though the high temp for 3 days was only 68 degrees. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone and we will for sure look to book it on our next vacation.

I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the space and enjoyed the property! Well decorated, comfortable furniture, all the kitchen items we needed. Easy to get around and handy to have a golf cart. It did, however, die halfway between the beach and the condo one day so we didn’t have it for a day. They fixed it quickly. My only complaint was that there was a ton of dog hair on the floors. The rugs were covered, like they hadn’t been vacuumed before our arrival. I reached out to My Vacation Haven via text and email and never got a response. Not a huge deal, but if I had had toddlers or crawlers, I would have been more upset.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had a great stay. We loved the location of Turnberry because it is a very short ride to the pool and to Baytown. The layout of the house was great for our family of 5 and had plenty of space. Our rental did, for the most part, feel clean. It is not a pet friendly rental, but the owners must have a pet as there was a lot of pet hair on the rug and furniture as well as in the steps leading to the front door. My vacation haven was helpful when we had questions. We would recommend this rental.

All amenities to get started were provided. Nice golf cart included along with beach chairs ,toys and umbrella. Highly recommended! Issue with property: charging cart was a challenge as posts did not work... breaker issues. Lack of parking for vehicles was a challenge if we left, we had to search for parking king due to other rental properties have 3+ vehicles for one family unit.

Our family of 5 stayed over New Years and it was the perfect spot to watch the fireworks from the Wharf without dealing with crowds! Easy access to the beach, grocery store, restaurants all with the golf cart! The golf cart was great although it took us a bit to find it initially and we never found the cover to it. The condo was well stocked with cooking/eating tools and beach chairs/toys. The condo was very clean. The building was quiet when we were there but the first building next door was packed with renters and cars. The owners book that was in the condo was very helpful. Our only complaint were the showers and that had to do with water pressure/softness. We had a great time!!

Great Family Spot

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The night before we arrived, myvacationhaven called to say the golf cart was disabled due to bad brakes. This was the only reason we booked this particular condo. We checked in at 4 pm and went to get groceries for the week. Once we got back, the A/C was no longer working. I was able to call for help but the maintenance didn't show up till the following morning. Our first night was miserable sleeping in a hot house with 3 kids. After it was repaired, the trip turned out to be very enjoyable. The condo is very stylish and had plenty of room for our family. It's so close to the wharf that we just walked there since our cart was down! The beach is about a 5 min trip by car and it was beautiful. The sand was clean and there are plenty of drink/snack booths next to our spot. Overall, I would stay here again as long as the cart is available. We didn't even bother waiting in lines to take the trams around Sandestin.

Worst Trip Ever To Sandestin

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We travel to Sandestin every year sometimes multiple times and this was the worst experience we have had. My vacation haven is definitely the worst company we have ever worked with. Let’s start with the listing. Says it is a second story unit but doesn’t tell you the only way up is stairs....not ideal when you have people with you who need an elevator that are recovering from surgery. Let’s also start with the fact that the oven and stove never worked...called as soon as we arrived and no one ever came to fix it. Called them again about it on the fourth day and they said sure we can send someone and I was like what is the point now you obviously didn’t care if it worked for us the first four days. The water pressure in the unit is basically non existent in the shower and faucets. The shower took 10-15 minutes to ever even reach lukewarm. So no hot shower for an entire week sucked. The exterior or the unit obviously hadn’t been cleaned at all because when you touched any railing or door handle your hands were covered in yellow pollen. Would never use this company again. Choose someone else to rent from.

Nice place - good location - nice golf cart

The condo is very nice and well appointed. The balcony over looking the lake is peaceful in the morning and in the evening - great spot to view fireworks in Baytowne. Overall - great trip.

Fantastic vacation!

This was our first time to stay in Sandestine. I was a little worried I would miss staying right on the beach but this place was awesome! We'll probably stay here again next year. This place was beautiful and any problem we had was quickly addressed. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay another night. Wish we could have stayed longer! We were sad to leave for sure!

Love this place!

We love this place! The location is perfect, the condo is roomy and has a lovely lake view. It’s just a golf cart ride away from Publix, Grimaldis pizza and all the shopping you can imagine. The beach is across the road and that’s a fun trip by golf cart too.
