Disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upstairs no A/C, had a leak in the kitchen. A/C didn't get fixed only 1 fan was brought.

Great location, but unit needs some work.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love staying at Seascape and this unit had plenty of space and a great location at the entrance of the Boardwalk. It wasn’t very clean, however, and needed a lot of general maintenance. From light fixtures flickering or not working to shower faucets leaking when not even engaged and ceiling fans that are barely hanging on, it left a good bit to be desired. We were also delayed in entering because of a lock malfunction on the unit. Overall, the stay was good but could have been great had the unit been properly maintained.

Boardwalk Unit 188 Mothership weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The positive regarding this unit is only in its location. Management was responsive to our complaint of the ant infestation (all groceries left on the counter had to be thrown out) but other issues went unanswered (unusable patio due to insects and debris, indoor insect-filled cobwebs). We bought ant traps for the inside and the outside of the unit was sprayed immediately upon our complaint. I would not have expected the unacceptable conditions of this unit given the expensive rental costs.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed ourselves, but the unit itself was a Big disappointment, especially for the price that was charged. Started by cob webs covering the whole front entry. Cob webs and dead bugs all over lamp shades and corners of floors. Couldn't walk around in bare feet without having the grit of sand, which understandably is hard to clean between stays with how fine the sand is, but didn't expect to have to wear shoes the whole time. Sofa, Chair and carpet should either be professionally cleaned or replaced as both have more of a dark gray tint to them in many areas than the gold/beige color they should be, none of us would sit on the sofa and chair. King bed and bed frame and Queen bed and bed frame Sqeaked Horribly! Management company did respond promptly to standing backed upped water in shower, but not sure why that isn't caught when the unit gets cleaned. We loved the location and the size of the unit. Highly recommend a deep cleaning and change out some of the furnishings (Or lower the price....dramatically to accommodate for these) and it could easily go from a 1 star to 4-5 star unit!

The second condo space wise was not suitable even though I slept in the number of people supposed to have... and without a washer and dryer in the condo The third condo kind of freaked out at first because the dryer was making screeching noises.and one of the TVs wouldn’t stay on... It was a beautiful condo easy access. Taylor was very helpful and so was Emily.

Upstairs was warm yet they wouldn’t let turn down lower than 72 because unit would freeze up and leak. Furniture needed updating, overall needs updating.

The top balcony had a huge crack in it, we were scared to sit out there. The air conditioner barely worked upstairs.

There was mold on the ceiling in the kitchen and bathroom, the light above the dining table was hanging by the wires, the patio was not screened in, and stains on the carpet....but the location.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful place to stay. I have used seascapes many years and have never really had any problems. Just a few minor issues. The upstairs bathroom light was out. The air didn't really cool the place e but that was fine because we gone most of the days we were in town. They are currently doing some construction. So we didn't have a closed in porch which was ok because it allowed the kids to play freely.

Great location!! Cleaning Crew lacking

Let’s start with the Pros: Great location. Short walk to the beach, across the parking lot from one of the pools, being able to fish out your back door. That all was really nice to have and be able to do. Also the resort is in the middle of everything, so shopping and food is really close.. Now for the Cons: overall the unit was not clean when we arrived. There was sand still on the tile and all in the rug in the kitchen. All the carpet was soaking wet where it was steam cleaned but the water was not pulled out. It took 1.5 days for it to dry out. There were wads of hair in the carpet upstairs that apparently was not cleaned at all. The air could not be turned below 72, which I understand but still did not like. The same AC unit apparently cools the lower and upper, but the upper bedrooms were always hot due to small volume of air coming out of the vents. This was not comfortable at night when trying to sleep. We could not use the back patio due to the screen on the door being completely torn off and the porch was full of mosquitoes and gnats.. we did not have a garbage can in the kitchen at all. Called housekeeping and they never brought us one for the entire week. We had to tie the garbage bags to the drawer.. unit needed some general maintenance upkeep. Leaking shower heads, loose railing, etc.. overall, with some general upkeep and a better cleaning job between rentals, this place would really nice.
