Beautiful & comfortable home away from home!
The house, Peace of Paradise, was right on the private beach, beautifully and comfortably appointed with all the essentials and detailed touches, and complete with chairs and umbrellas automatically set up and taken down for us every day without us needing to do anything. House is very well kept and the photos on VRBO are current and accurate. The elevator was especially nice with the 3 floors, which helped not just accommodate older family members but just helpful moving luggage and groceries. Large clean windows on each floor overlooking the emerald Gulf and white sand, and covered, clean, large, and well lit balconies on each floor, all overlooking the beach. Location was safe and so close to everything. Stan was an excellent host- so welcoming and everything available to us in the house and around town was made very clear so we could really take advantage of the house and its location- great too since it was our first time in Destin/Miramar Beach. Hand soap pumps, soft toilet paper extras, & even Febreeze spray in every bathroom; paper towels, new kitchen sponge and trash bags; and an easy surplus of bath towels and beach towels that were thick and absorbent; bedding was clean and comfortable; kitchen was stocked; and having the washer & dryer were so helpful. Air conditioning on all floors worked very well. Even had a small cooler which we were able to use to bring home fish from deep sea fishing. Everything was in working order. We can’t wait to return.
