The host was very responsive, and the location was convenient, but unfortunately, the overall stay didn’t quite meet expectations. The house itself is beautiful and has great potential, but it hasn’t been well-cared for as reflected in the listing photos.There is a significant humidity issue throughout the home, which caused a noticeable mildew or mold smell and left anything that can hold moisture like towels, bedding, and even toilet paper feeling damp to the touch. When we checked the humidity levels inside, it was 87% which was higher than the outdoor humidity during our early October stay. We reached out to the hosts to ask about dehumidifiers, but they did not have any available. For reference, the Florida Department of Health recommends maintaining indoor humidity levels below 50% to prevent mold growth and ensure healthy air quality. We also reached out to VRBO after and had little help from them regarding the situation.There were also several other minor things that we were unaware about from the listing/reviews such as a different golf cart, broken outdoor furniture, significant mold in washer, etc. It’s disappointing because the property has so much charm and potential, but the humidity, mold, and maintenance issues made it hard to enjoy the space comfortably. With better upkeep, accurate listing details, and humidity control, it could truly be a wonderful stay.

Family Reunion at the Beach

The Heights is the place to be in Miramar Beach. Top level views from the roof top deck. Private pool, top end grill, plenty of space for all. Gated community, local beach access. Perfect for family reunions or high end retreats.

Great house

Perfect for our large family. Really had fun watching the 2024 olympics in the evenings. Only suggestion for improvement would be the mattresses. They were not comfortable and should be replaced, plastic feeling and not enough support. Overall though the experience was wonderful!

We really enjoyed our vacation at Miramar Beach. The house was awesome and the onsite amenities kept everyone entertained all week. The golf cart was a must and made the distance to the beach more manageable and convenient. The property owners were very accessible and responsive to everything that we needed.

Amazing experience!

This house was amazing! From the cleanliness, to the responsiveness of the owner, to the amenities, everything was well thought out and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It’s not easy to accommodate 20+ adults on one vacation and this house does just that. There were plenty of towels included which was an added bonus. We had one small issue and the owner had maintenance over to fix it within an hour. Top notch service!

Absolutely stunning house with a great location. This property truly is unique in terms of what it offers. Consider yourself lucky to stay here! The cleaning team took extra care - you could tell, and the amenities offered are top-notch. This property can accommodate a lot of people and still feel very spacious!

Reunion Fun

Wonderful! Our family had a fantastic vacation. The main family room - dining area was ample space for visiting and dining. A second lower-level living room opened to the pool area. The kitchens (yes - one large kitchen, one small kitchen area and a food pantry with its own dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave) were well-equipped with cooking and dining utensils. Bedrooms had closets, shelves and bathrooms. We used the weight room and game room and all the balconies. While some played in the large pool, others were enjoying putting on the greens. The golf cart was fun for going to the beach - which was an easy walk as well. Our host was quick to respond when we had questions and/or requests. We plan to return!

Staff Retreat

We held our annual staff retreat at this property. It was our first time to the Florida Pan Handle and thus this house. We will definitely be back to the area. The house was perfect for our needs this year. The many bunk rooms allowed for all of our single staff, the other rooms allowed for our families, so it was truly perfect. The pool was a highlight, as was the golf cart. The space on the living floor was amazing for our group of 23. The few issues we had were handled quickly and professionally. Awnna was a great host making sure our needs were taken care of in a timely manner. If we weren't growing beyond this house, we would definitely be back!

AMAZING HOUSE CLOSE TO THE BEACH

My family and I (18 people) stayed at this house in June. It was the perfect house to accommodate all of us while giving us plenty of room to each have our own space. It was absolutely beautiful inside and out. It was close to the beach, and it was great having our own golf cart to go back and forth. The pool was a hit with all the grandkids!!! The hosts were great and answered all of my questions and requests immediately! It was the perfect location for us, and I loved that it was in a gated community. The beaches were absolutely beautiful and we had access to the private beach!!! Such a fun house and would definitely recommend!!!
