Gave it only 4 stars because of the mattresses having deep holes in them. Could use new mattresses but overall a wonderful place to stay. The common area is the best part where a group of 10 had plenty of space to spend the mornings and evenings.

Miramar Gem

This home had the perfect set up for my family. One level home, fenced in backyard with gorgeous pool! We range in age from mid 20s-70s, this home was perfect for all of us & safe for our little dog! The pool has a splash pad which was perfect for older family members (or small children).There’s also a golf cart (seats 6) which was great! We loved having that to go down to the beaches!Contacting the host was easy too & they really seem to care that their renters are happy & enjoying their stay! I would absolutely book this home from this couple again!!Thank You Jessica & Eric from the Pavao/Depina family!!

The Complete package!

If you're looking for a family friendly house that includes everything you need for a relaxing stay, this is the place! Bedrooms are spacious, the house is recently remodeled and the backyard with your own private pool is a great place to come relax after a long day at the beach. The property is super dog friendly. If that wasn't enough all the extras you can need for the beach are provided not to mention the included golf cart to enjoy and explore the main strip! We'll be back!

Wonderful Home

We've rented this home a few times and will keep coming back. The home is spotless and very well maintained with all of the amenities we could think of. There's plenty of space in the fenced yard for our dog to both run around a bit and to potty. The pool is wonderful and having the golf cart to run out to eat or head to the beach is a definite plus! The host is very responsive to any questions that arise. Loved every minute of our vacation here!

Excellent Safe Location!

We had such a great time at the Rustic Retreat which should be called Beautiful White Sands bliss! The location was central to the best restaurants, shopping and I cannot say enough about the beach which was stunning! The home is located in a gated community and we felt very safe. The home had enough space for us to not feel like we were crowded and the decor was beautiful. We were lucky to find such a beautiful home. We cannot say thank you enough for the memories we made!

Clean,Family Friendly!

This is the fourth time we’ve stayed in this subdivision and the first to stay in this house!! Neighborhood community can not be beat and this house was definitely one of the tops!The host was so great to work with and the house was very well stocked with what you need plus very clean!!The pool area is great and by far one one the most private in the area!Book your vacation here and you will not be disappointed!!

Awesome place

We did a family vacation and chose this home to be our home away from home. We all absolutely loved the whole atmosphere!! When we arrived the golf cart was fully charged and the pool was ready!! During our stay hurricane Helene was coming in and Eric and Jessica were in constant contact with us to check on us and they came and took care of the pool furniture!! If you are looking For a great place nice gated neighborhood this is the place for you!! Plenty of room plenty of amenities and plenty of room to sleep a lot of people! Thank you Eric and Jessica!

Wonderful Stay!

Beautiful rental property just minutes away from the beach by either walking or driving the golf cart that included with the rental. Everything matched up with what was listed online. The hosts were responsive and provided simple and clear instructions from check-in to check-out. This place will stay on our radar as a must stay when we come back to the Emerald Coast!

Don't Pass Up The Opportunity To Stay At Rustic Retreat

Pictures don't do this home justice. We were in town from Wisconsin on a week long get away. Upon arrival, access to the gated neighborhood was easy. The home was immaculate. Everything was extremely clean and there was plenty of space for the 4 adults and 2 children to spread out. The garage has a bunch of beach chairs, boogie boards, kids sand toys, pool toys and floaties. The golf cart was a great add. We used it to get to local restaurants in Miramar Beach but I recommend going early if you want to find parking. Jessica was great in her communication. Overall an amazing place and we can't wait to stay here again when back in Destin.

Another perfect vacation

This is our 3rd time staying at this property and definitely won't be our last. The property is very well maintained and in a great location. The property manager Jessica is absolutely wonderful to work with. I feel like I am always writing the same review but everything is always so perfect there that there just aren't any negatives. We actually completely feel like we are guests. Very relaxing because we have never had any issues there. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Excellent stay

Just as advertised and following all the other reviews, the place was spotless and well maintained. It has everything you need to be called a home away from home. The gated community made it feel more like a home, then a rental. Having no neighbors behind the house gives it a quiet and private feeling to it, and having north and south access to the community was an unspoken bonus. If you want to go someplace other than the beach, having direct access to Hwy 98 is a nice option, versus driving the scenic route. The heated pool was great. It’s nice to play in the pool in the morning, go to the beach in the afternoon, then jump in the pool in the evening when you return. The deeded beach access is a quick 10 minute walk from the house, or you can take a quick drive on the golf cart to the public parking up scenic route. The little welcome package Jess leaves, paper towels, TP, laundry pods, dish sponge, hand soap is a nice touch. If we are ever in the area again, we’ll stay here again. 100%
