Parking was great, and it was really easy to get to the condo, the beach, pool, etc. We were there for a wedding, and it was the perfect place to unwind and spend the free time.

The condo and the balcony were clean. The beach view is amazing! We absolutely loved sitting on the balcony and listening to the waves. This is the first place we stayed where the company that manages the complex checked on us by text daily. We also liked having an easily accessible parking garage! The weather didn’t cooperate this trip but we enjoyed our stay at Beachside II.

Thanks for a wonderful vacation in Sandestin! Great location right on the beach with fantastic opportunities to run/walk/bike! The renovated pool area is beautiful and water was warm. The landscaping all around Sandestin was amazing…loved the trails and easy access to the bayside with the underground tunnel. Would absolutely love to visit again!

Amazing view is a perfect name for this place. We loved every minute of our stay. Staff was easily assessable with our questions. Will definitely book this unit next year.

The unit was very clean and the bed was so comfortable! We didn’t use the kitchen so can’t comment on those amenities but it was so clean. Overall the unit was more dated and “tired” than we were expecting but it was comfortable with great views. Thank you!

Comfortable and cozy

The one bedroom felt large, the furniture very comfortable and cozy. The walking paths are shaded and well maintained. Played pickle ball, Court well maintained as well.

Upon arrival the provided code did not unlock to door (I assume it was never updated from last guest) So we had to text back and forth to figure it out. Luckily they where available to text with. Unit was very dirty from last guest. I had to clean the surfaces, and take of my glasses to not get to bothered. (inside of fridge dirty, table had crumbs and drink rings, ect. ) I wanted to go out and and relac on the balcony however not all the chairs where out there as in the picture. So I messaged with property manager who then the next day brought the chairs and paper towels for me to clean with. Building was grimy and hot tub was not working, (it had a tarp and bricks covering it.) The main reason I booked was the hot tub. No courtesy was given to me when I expressed my concern about this. Host was apathetic and rude. They tried to guilt me for expecting the description. Yuck stay away.

The views are stunning! That’s the best part of the property. We were excited that the pool was re-opened but it closes at sunset which means we didn’t get to use it, as we usually like to go after dinner. There is also not much to do on the beachside and tram service was not included (I thought it was for some reason). To make this rental better, a better balcony set up (chairs with arms) would be nice because the view is really all you’re paying for with this particular rental. Rental was clean and comfortable. However, we will likely book back at Baytowne Wharf area again in the future.

4th July Vacation

Overall stay was great! Absolutely beautiful views! 😍 Listening to the waves were calming & relaxing. Me & my family had a blast & will be going back. The only thing I was disappointed in was that the dishes that were put away in cupboards were not clean & had to be rewashed in dishwasher before use. Plus, the bathroom could have been updated a little more, shower curtain was an issue. But, other than that it was a awesome stay with family!! 🇺🇸 ❤️

Great long weekend!

We had a great stay. The view is as pictured and access to the beach couldn’t have been easier. The listing was accurate and the came stocked with enough of the basics to get us by! We appreciated that the community was gated and codes were needed. The only downfall was the pool under renovation. That wasn’t an issue the property owner could fix, and we understood what we were getting when we were booking! When this is fixed for the summer, I would highly consider booking here again.

This was a fabulous decision. Staying here was so wonderful, I give it a five star. Communication, access, the hosts, an absolutely a most comfortable and cozy condo. While the weather was colder this past week, we really enjoyed staying in and being lazy, The sofa and the bed were so comfortable. The kitchen was fairly well stocked, and the bathroom had plenty of towels and linens. The views were unbelievable from morning to night. Parking was always available. Communication happened every day and it was very appreciated. The only thing I’d say is a couple things are a bit tired and maybe in need of updating. Some of the kitchen utensils, and the bathroom fixtures are starting to rust. But certainly not a huge deal. The condo does have chairs in beach toys, but those are a bit worn out as well. There are plenty of coffee filters and salt and pepper shakers. We were told none of that would be there, but other guests had left them behind so there is plenty! Overall and absolutely incredible vacation. Newest favorite discovery - The Surf Hut (bar and beach grill) just a mile or two away. We love the 30a and everything between Destin and Panama City. We can’t wait to come back!!!

Noise

While we read that the building was having some renovations done we were not informed at the time of booking the incredible noise level that we encountered from 8:00am-5:00pm. It sounded like a jackhammer was being used on our ceiling. You couldn't talk over the noise. Also, we had no access to the building's pool or any pool for that matter. That too was a disappointment. The location was great and the unit was clean. I'm sure it would be a wonderful place to stay when the building was not under construction. I think for anyone staying during this period it's important to be fully aware of what to expect.
