“The owner was very hospitable and even let us start a few hours past check out as our flight was at 2pm. Colleen also arranged for a lovely cultural tour at our request. It’s a very nice place and the included breakfast was made to order and delicious! Not some bland breakfast bar. It was like breakfast at a cute ocean view cafe where you could order an omelette or French toast. Great stay”

“I cannot say enough good things about Travessia. The location is absolutely stunning, the food is amazing, and the staff are so kind and thoughtful. Travessia is truly a place to get away from it all and I am so appreciative of our time there. We loved that it was an eco-lodge using solar energy and was also working with the local community to be a force for good. We travel a lot, but this may be my favorite place we have ever stayed.”

“I was very disappointed overall with this place. The location is good, fairly close to the beach, the restaurant is lively with a great view, but my room didn't look like it had been cleaned properly. I found a few earbuds and bottle tops on the floor. The sink was blocked and had to be cleaned out. The room was really nothing else but a room, and everything about it seemed worn and old. The casitas are so close together and walls so thin that I could hear everything coming from both...

“Sheets were dirty. Rooms weren’t cleaned daily. . There was a power cut and they don’t have a generator so no electricity or running water (hot or cold) for 12 hours or so. Disappointing.”
