The cabin had everything we needed and more. The location and setting was ideal for us. No issues. Wish we were not running a full agenda to spend more time there.

Fun stay in a very quiet location. The cabin was fully stocked with all the necessities — linens, towels, pots, pans, utensils, a full-size refrigerator, microwave, table, board games, and a TV with streaming apps (bring your own account logins). Our kids were at Hume Lake Christian Camp, so we decided to stay in the area and even spent a day exploring Kings Canyon National Park.A pleasant surprise was the WiFi — much faster than we expected for such a remote location.I'm glad we came well-stocked with food, though. Everything is remote out here, and running to a store isn't a quick errand. My wife questioned how much we packed, but was grateful for it afterward. One heads-up: the mountain roads are winding throughout, so plan for trips to take significantly longer than the map suggests.Overall, a great location — and best of all, spotlessly clean. Highly recommend!

Five star in every way

Whimsically decorated, charmingly comfortable, well stocked & meticulously clean cottage with very attentive & communicative host! 5 stars Spent most of our stay in the national parks but such a welcoming place to return to.

First the good news - and its almost all good. Communication with the host was excellent. The property was clean and orderly. The sofa bed in the living room was a quality item. The location of this cabin just can't be beat, especially for the price. Less than stellar: There is no oven underneath the stovetop. Propane grill works great. The hosts have provided what looks like a new air fryer, big enough to heat up a frozen pizza, but it just doesn't really cut it. No icemaker (or even adequate ice cube trays) in the fridge. The ping pong and foosball tables are ramshackle items in the ramshackle open air car port. The wifi quit on us for a bit while we were there - the router is a very cheap affair. These were minor issues compared with the advantages of staying here.

Gateway to parks

This place is so cool! It has everything we needed plus great outdoor hangout areas and an amazing screened in porch with a sleeping area in it! It made for a great base camp for visiting sequoia and kings canyon. And it’s a short drive from the great Pinehurst lodge. Highly recommended place and I’d stay here again.

Lovely cabin

Can't wish for anything else for this stay, maybe just wished I had stayed more days. Cabin is so cozy, well maintained and supplied. Would definitely recommend it.

Cozy Cabin Close to Park Entrance

Cabin is very cute and comfortable with awesome amenities. Close to Kings Canyon Park entrance. We spent a lot of time in the garden and enjoying the fire pit in the evenings after exploring the area. Thank you for having us.

Loved the cabin and the property. Intetnet and TV worked grest. Had to look up online how to use a French Press coffee maker. Lol . Loved ping pong table.

Great getaway stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The host was lovely and very communicative - she happily let us check in early, and check out late. Amazing proximity to Sequoia National Park. Only room for improvement would be if the property had its own private entrance. You have to drive past a couple of houses to get to the location, so we were a little confused getting to the house, but it all worked out!
