  • Dos habitaciones, un baño. Y un pequeño dormitorio para divertirse. Cocina completa, acogedora sala de estar. Lavandería. Barbacoa. Patio con jardín A solo 20 minutos del Parque Nacional Sequoia Kings Canyon. O quédese cerca de la cabaña todo el día y tenga unas vacaciones de verdad. Encuentra tu aquí aquí.

    Construido en la década de 1930 como un restaurante (que sirve de pollo!) cuando el registro era una forma de vida en el sur de las estribaciones de la Sierra Nevada, en la actualidad Merrynook es un jardín de cabina llena de arte a un corto trayecto de Sequoia y Kings Canyon Parques Nacionales y Sequoia National Forest.

    Bachrun y Mahalia LoMele poseen y administran Merrynook, y su cabina de al lado, Fivespot. Ellos han sido anfitriones de vacaciones en Pinehurst desde 2008.

Charming, rustic cabin,very peaceful and quiet area in Pinehurst. Cabin is well stocked with all the essentials for cooking your own meals. Beds very comfortable. Hosts very responsive. Easy parking right in front. Great home base for exploring the parks.

We had a great time staying at this cabin. It was so peaceful and super cozy, with everything we needed to feel at home. The hosts were really thoughtful and made sure we had everything we needed. There were also lots of books to read, which was a nice touch! Highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

Absolutely loved our stay. Quaint and cozy, had all we needed and was in perfect proximity to Kings Canyon and Sequoia. Our whole family, teens and tween included loved it!

Fell in love with the area and the house

We loved our stay here. It was perfect - the location, house, people. I now hope to spend a month here after I retire to recharge and explore!

Quiet and cozy cabin

We stayed here while visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The cabin was in a perfect location for our visit and provided a comfortable and quiet retreat during our evenings. It's an older cabin but was very clean and cozy! We would absolutely stay here again.

Cute cottage near King's Canyon

We had a great time at this cute cottage. The kitchen is well stocked and there is a full size gas grill outside.

This is a beautiful property with a charming cottage. The space is full of interesting books and knick knacks. The outdoor space is beautiful and fairly private. It was just two of us, but I wouldn’t hesitate to bring children here. There are many games, ample space for everyone, and many birds to look at! Turkeys visited us daily, and many songbirds as well. One of my favorite stays ever!

Very cosy place, great hosts and great location.

This place is very nice. It’s small but cosy. The hosts were great and friendly and helped us sort out some issues with our rental car. The locations is very nice with easy access to the national parks. Kitchen is well equiped.

Visit to Sequoia

Cute cabin very near Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Perfect spot for getting to park destinations. Requires a little pre-planning to get groceries on way in. Hosts were great.

Cozy cabin in which to create fantastic family memories

We had such a great time! The wood stove, fabulous art and trinkets, and easy communication with the host added up to make our Thanksgiving trip to Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP the best possible. Thank you Mahalia and Bachrun LoMele!

Wonderful location

This cabin was amazing. We enjoyed the eclectic furnishings, it's proximity to Kings Canyon NP and a bar selling great pubgrub. The owners gave us plenty of information, and though they lied behind the property, we never felt there was any intrusion. A great experience and we hope to return soon.

Wonderful experience

The cottage was cozy and nice and we enjoyed our daily visits from Puffnip the cat when we were on the porch having coffee. Mahalia was wonderful and a big help with planning our visits to the parks.

Awesome cabin and perfect for sequoia and kings canyon

We loved the cabin. Everything about it was perfect and owners were great. If you’re worried about no AC, don’t be. The swamp cooler and open windows at night had us all sleeping like babies. We also loved the decor and then extremely well stocked kitchen. If we ever make it back to this area we will be here again!JD

Fantastic Stay

Our family of 5 stayed as we toured the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks for 3 nights. The cabin is adorable! We loved it and the space it provided for all of us! It was super close to the park entrance, and that was a huge plus! Mahalia was a great host letting us know of any issues- such as a road closing and the wild fire that happened to happen the same time we were there. Great communication!

Immediately felt at home

The cabin was perfect for our family and bigger than I expected. It has a great location near the parks. But the thing I most appreciated was how much at home we felt. Unlike the sterile, minimalist design trends of today, it was like stepping into a cozy friend or relative's house. We were surrounded by a lifetime's worth of collectibles, art, and an ecclectic assortment of books. We also had an opportunity to meet the owner, which it usually not an option in the impersonal world of rentals these days. Five stars!

Cozy Relaxing Cabin

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin. The location for visiting Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon is great. The owners were very relaxed and accommodating. My daughter enjoyed playing the piano on the front porch which was surprisingly well tuned for being outdoors. Well stocked house with board games and kitchen supplies. Enough space for our family of five. If you are uncomfortable on mountain roads, 245 is challenging. I would arrive via Dunlap or Dry Creek Road instead.
