We had a great stay! Everything was clean, the A/C was on when we arrived, and wifi connectivity was great! The area is quiet and private and we would definitely recommend it!

Overall a wonderful spot close to Kings Canyon!Loved the cabin feel and the beds were super cozy! If your looking for luxury this is not your spot, but if you want a private comfortable spot with all the basic essentials this spot is perfect!Side note Apple Maps took us to the wrong house but Google Maps took us right there.

Great location! Close to Kings Canyon NP & easier access to Sequoia NP than starting at the bottom of the mountain. Cozy cabin, rustic (but with wifi & TV). A fun experience & great base camp for nearby Kings Canyon.

The cabin is quite rustic, but it has the basic essentials. The beds are comfortable, the owners are responsive. The big upside is the proximity to Sequoias and Kings Canyon NP.

This home is in a great location for visiting Kings Canyon National Park. The living room, dining area, and kitchen are spacious and cozy. However, the upstairs sleeping area was disappointing; upon entering the room, there are no working lights near the doorway - we had to feel our way in the dark to turn on a lamp on the bedside table. The interior of the home could be somewhat cleaner. The home appears quite old, and in need of some additional maintenance: it was hard to find a 3-prong outlet.

It was such a peaceful and amazing experience staying at the Moore's Cabin for my annual New Years celebration retreat 2025 - 2026 I highly recommend it.

Very dated place. Everything in the house is old and just basic. We didn't get a comfortable feeling just because of the overall age of everything in the house. Bare minimum aminities. There is nothing close to the place. We won't recommend it to anyone who is used to decent modern living.

It’s a neat little cabin tucked away in a peaceful location, if you don’t mind the twisty drive to get there. We didn’t. It’s cozy and spacious and had basic equipment in the kitchen that I needed to make quick meals after our long days exploring Sequioa and Kings Canyon. The beds are also remarkably comfortable. We are mattress snobs and this cabin’s beds made us sleep like babies. The shower stall though, needs a major fix. The seal around the shower door is falling out and it does not close properly, making water seep out whenever we use it. But overall we had a very good stay. It’s a place we wouldn’t mind staying at for several days for a quiet getaway. Just make sure to stock up on supplies and gas. No groceries or gas stations close by.

This cabin was horribly outdated and was a nightmare to find especially at night. The driveway to get in was incredibly steep and difficult to navigate. When going upstairs there were no light switches that worked and I had to shine a flashlight to find a light to click on. We were not given any warning about this and it was a bit unnerving after having such a hard time finding the place in the dark. Only one shower on the main floor but all beds upstairs so we had to trek down the narrow staircase to get from the shower back up to the bedroom. The shower had a seal on the hinged side of the door that was half off and the door wouldn’t even shut to take a shower. I messaged the owner and was told they would come by that day to fix it but nobody ever came. The floors were really dirty. We were just overall not comfortable here. We were glad we only had it reserved for two nights.

Wonderful stay very close to the Kings Canyon entrance.The home had a lot of accommodations nice kitchen, 3 beds, 2nd story ac. The area is nice with deer, quail, and stellar Jay showing up every once in a while. All in a great experience with this stay.

This cabin is in need of some repairs and upgrades. The shower is tiny and quite literally falling apart. The door wouldn’t stay closed, so water gets all over the floor, and the sealant between the shower walls was falling off. The cabin got pretty hot and was a little challenging to cool down at night, with a small window A/C unit on the far side of the large bedroom. We appreciated the comfort of the living room and could even catch some World Cup soccer on the TV. The deck was nice and the stargazing was wonderful. Pinehurst is very limited in resources with only one restaurant nearby, so bring lots of food! Overall this was a convenient location for visiting Hume Lake.

Perfect place, perfect host! She stayed on the phone with me and helped guide me all the way to the driveway. House had everything needed for a cozy stay. Loved the proximity to King’s Cabin.

This was a great cabin and worked well for our family. By aware that it is very remote and plan your groceries and gas! Great for visiting King's canyon!

Had a great couple of days in both national parks. Enjoyed the quail/turkeys feeding in the front yard of the cabin. Cabin could use some updating but overall was pleasant.
