Lovely location, right on the East Coast Trail. Easy to find. Sauna was wonderful. Room was great - cooking facilities were nice to reduce eating out costs. Could hear people in adjacent rooms (just everyday noises, they were not being particularly noisy/partying).

Relaxing stay at the Whale house. The room is amazing! Only thing is the trees need to be trimmed to have a better view of the water.

This place is an absolute must! Jennifer was so fast responding, super sweet, and this place was absolutely beautiful. Very environmentally friendly. The hot tub was super clean and all ready when we got there. We will definitely be back😊

This little hideaway is absolutely gorgeous! We enjoyed the views and the well kept hot tub. The greeters were also very entertaining!

Hot tub was good. Not powerful enough for me tho lol didnt seem like the jets were strong. Next time we'll do the bigger suit for the bigger hot tub. Personally i likes to have a tv in the room cuz the little google screens are so tiny. Its just how i like to relax is all. The hostess was AMAZING!!! She chatted with us like shes known us for yrs!! Very sweet friendly lady. Id recommend the whale house guest house to allmy friend's and family. We're looking forward to returning there another yr.

Place was very clean, very easy to find. Beautiful when you could see around the trees. Only complaint was the noise (footsteps) coming from upstairs every morning. If you wanted to sleep in this was not happening. Hot tub in the humpback room was very noisy when jets are on, also the view was blocked by trees. Overall we enjoyed our stay, cute property, and great attention to detail.

Beautiful spot and we enjoyed ourselves but the heat was off when we arrived and it took quite a while it to come on. In December to arrive and it be freezing was disappointing.

The guy that works there was amazing but inside the bugs carpenters everywhere and I had door shut from the jacuzzi so wake up to ants crawling over me and went get shower four carpenters in there.just spray the place inside out home defense and I never complain

Humpback whale room is super small and not comfortable. A bed. Two hard chairs. Small high windows. Fine for a night. There are hiking trails near by. There is a hot tub for those who like, outside of the room.

The footsteps of people walking in the suite above kept us awake. Sheets were cheap. Hot tub on deck was nice but took up the whole deck and there was nowhere to sit out. View of ocean not that great cause of trees and bushes.

Room was quite cute and clean Hot tub was great Area around the room very sweet Walls are paper thin, could here people walking around above us much earlier than we wanted to be woken Was hoping for quiet evening of relaxation and tv but only small I pad to view with very small screen Had everything to make coffee except something to whiten it with. When I asked about whitner I was told to go to a close by store. Advertising indicates coffee available so I didn’t expect to have to go out to buy milk. Rules signs everywhere. Was asked to save water by having only a 5 minute shower but it took more than that to get it hot Two chairs provided by they were wooden and not to comfortable Would have been great for someone younger than I Overall a sweet room with a comfortable bed but a little overpriced

The hosts were great, the place was clean, everything we needed for a short stay was there. Everything was marked well, easy to find, and clear instructions were set out for the use of amenities in/around the property. Bonus points for the cruelty free products that were supplied. There were a couple of small things that would have really gave it that extra something though. It would have been nice to have a little space to sit outside on such nice days, even just enough room for a patio chair or two. The hot tub was nice but didn’t feel as private as we would have liked due to the patio above, and the large windows from one of the other suites just off to the side. The curtains do provide some privacy but we were still very aware of the people/things around us. Speaking of privacy all of the google assistants seamed to be linked to the same account so at one point we were listening to music that was being controlled from somewhere else in the house. It took a minute to figure out what was happening. Considering the capabilities for drop ins, and the built in cameras, having all of those linked felt a little concerning.

The good: It is a clean and newly renovated setup. Clearly they have taken a house and made it into 5 rentals. We stayed the in Orca Suite. The downside: We aren't fancy travelers in the least but at 430 in the morning our first night I was finding us a hotel room for the remaining 2 nights of our trip. The room felt like a shoebox that you could hear every bump and step from other guests beside and above. The bed is a double pushed up against the wall was not comfortable at all. The bathroom is fine but the energy saving motion light is a pain as it turns off while in the shower and also early morning if you even go near the bathroom door. The requested 5 minute showers to save water, yet it takes 3 minutes to get hot water. Add into the do not flush toilet paper rule. Other than the bed we could have dealt with it but the property has nowhere for you to sit. Out front of our room there was 2 chairs facing the parking area yet the bay is behind you. The photos shown are from the balcony of the hot tub suites. Really consider what you plan to do in the area. Other than the 2 whale watching tours in the area there isn't much going on. We sat in a convenience store parking lot enjoying the view for the evening. Most disappointing part? When I sent a text to the host letting them know we wouldn't be staying the 2nd and 3rd nights the response I got was. "Okay, Have a great day". I knew I wasn't getting a refund but to not ask why seemed off.

Not what we expected but not a lot of options in the area. Property has 4 suites and I think we had the smallest of them. There is no staff on site, you get an access code via text the day before. Door was a little confusing but we eventually figured it out but it was awkward to use during our stay. Each suite comes with a hot tub, which is the selling point and while we did use it, it wasn't the reason for our booking. One more weird item is that guests are asked to not flush toilet paper and use the provided trash can for used TP and to limit showers to under 5 minutes. The suite we had also did not come with a TV but it did have a tablet connected to the internet. We generally stay in hotels/motels, this was the first time we used this type of property as there were no motels in the area. While it was OK I don't think I would book it again.

I stayed at Orca Room - A lovely room with a small kitchenette and a bathroom. There was nicely scented shower gel and shampoo. The location is very quiet, right on the water. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs, as the rooms are a bit noisy. I was prepared, so everything was fine. Thank you.

We stayed in the Blue Whale room. Very spacious room and comfortable bed. The hot tub was great. Two decks to view the water.Very attentive management that checks in with you. We would definitely book this again.
