“This place is a gem full of old world historic context, with gorgeous, lush hanging flower baskets adorning the front to greet you as you walk from the cobblestoned street. Eat at their festive outdoor seating or in a quaint interior. Staff helpful. Rooms available in a number of different buildings within the site. Very nice room but no elevator to upper floors in our building. Perfect place to stay to visit Caenarfon Wales, such a great walled town with one of the best castles in Wales nicely...

“We stayed in the family apartment which was a bedroom downstairs, a bedroom upstairs, a bathroom with shower and we had a small corner kitchen that had everything you could need. In a beautiful area, so quiet and peaceful, loved the scenery. Great communication off the owners and a warm welcome. Would recommend and would stay again”

“Booked this hotel for a weekend due to location to Watkin Path. Staff so kind & helpful, Rooms clean & tidy with ensuite bathrooms including baths in two out of 3 rooms booked. Use of lift to rooms. Breakfast selection plentiful and hot, evening meals superb & well priced. “Absolutely beautiful outside space, a well kept garden with superb views over the Menai Strait. Room was lovely, very clean and well maintained; the bed was comfortable and we had a great balcony (again, with views over the Strait). The shower was ok, just about warm enough. The staff were friendly and the service was very good (special mention to Nathan, whether first thing at breakfast or serving us at the bar, unfailingly polite and on the ball).

“Room was pristinely clean. Beds were comfortable. Nice en suite bathroom with good shower. Facilities to make a hot drink were replenished on request. Staff were friendly without being intrusive. Didn't eat supper in the restaurant because veggie options were limited. Breakfast was awesome. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone wanting accommodation in the area. Very close to Penrhyn castle and Bangor centre.”
“It was a really nice older property. The staff were all lovely and helpful, they had suggestions of where to go and what to see. The breakfast was really good and there was plenty of choice. The dining room, was roomy and had a great views. We had dinner there a couple of nights, although there wasn't a massive choice, we enjoyed what we ordered. The room was nice and clean, but a bit dated. It really is in a great location. Very easy for Anglesey.”
