“Charmaine, the manager for Castle Resorts, was prompt in her responses and very accommodating throughout our stay at Molokai Shores. The unit needed some deep cleaning and upgrades, and some minor repairs. ”

“Molokai is pretty laid back and not highly developed from a tourist standpoint, which is what we were looking for. The condo, which in its pictures looked a bit dated, definitely was when we got there. So no surprise. But we were disappointed a bit by what we encountered. Several missing or not working light bulbs. A ceiling fan in the bedroom that was either on or off, the chain control for how fast is turned wasn't working. Closet and bath doors that were delaminating. The view is...

“The Sunrise Cottage, and indeed the entire Pu'u o Hoku Ranch is a hidden gem. We may be biased since we held our wedding celebration here back in 2016, but to return ten years later and find it even more lovely was a delight. Molokai isn't for everyone, but to those drawn to it a wonderful adventure awaits. We'll return as often as they'll have us. Mahalo to all those who made our stay so wonderful.”

“This unit was a Disaster when we entered; the floor was dirty, dirty towels were on the floor the beds were not made up.We quickly reported this and the local caretakers quickly attended to the situation. We received a credit, apology letter and all was well thereafter. Hopefully this was already reported to you.”

“There was a terrible mold and musty smell when we entered and it continued throughout our stay. By Day 3 we realized there was mold growing on the living room and bedroom curtains and brought it to the attention of the owner who said he was unaware of the situation and neither the person immediately before us nor the cleaning person made mention of it which is hard to believe since the smell was overwhelming.
