Dock and yard were perfect. The house is another story. It was dirty on arrival so we had to spend the first part of our vacation cleaning. Dog hair, dust and bugs on nightstands, bathroom counters and other furniture and window sills. Some electrical wire and PVC shavings on outdoor porches with no broom in the house to clean with. We vacuumed each room we used as well before unpacking. We called the rental company twice and sent an email but no resolution.The house definitely needs some easy repairs. The outdoor fan is broken, porch furniture is coming apart and the shower heads need replacing. Also leasing company makes you sign a separate lease agreement requires you to stop by property management company to check in, which is silly since they just give you a code.

It is hard to imagine that 4 adults, 3 kids , and 2 Labrador retrievers would not feel crowded in 1600 square feet, but the layout of the house was perfect. The outdoor living areas were lovely, and the fenced yard worked well for the dogs. The 12 year old slept on the fold out couch, and he commented that having a tv, pool table, refrigerator, and a hot tub right outside made the best bedroom ever.

Amazing Property!

Beautiful. Iew

Property is just as shown. Clean and well furnished. Did not enjoy the check in. Do not understand why we had to drive all the way to the office just to receive a piece of paper with the door code and a bag of information that was already in emails I received. But otherwise nice house, beautiful views.

Wedding Celebration/ old and new !!!

We booked this gorgeous property for two weeks . We were celebrating our 45th Anniversary..also both our birthdays… and we wrapped it up celebrating our daughter’s wedding. It truly was a home away from home ! All our needs and wants were meet . Gorgeous lake views !!!! Loved it ! Will be back !!!

Absolutely Heaven in Virginia

Everything about our stay was perfect. The view of the lake was magical and the property was both pristine and perfect for ourselves and our girl (dog) Emily. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. The hot tub on the deck was the highlight for us as well. I would HIGHLY recommend this gorgeous getaway home if you enjoy breathtaking lake views, comfortable accommodations, and easy access to things to do for fun. 5 stars!

Great home, great stay.

Great home. The layout was perfect for us and our puppy lived his best life in the fenced yard. We enjoyed sitting on the covered deck first thing in the morning with coffee and again in the evening for the sunsets. The property management company was very friendly and made sure we had what we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Spot

Comfortable home with beautiful sunsets - the hot tub was the best spot, and there was no better way to ease into the day than a cup of coffee on the porch overlooking the lake.

Love this place

We had such a nice stay. It was truly the perfect get away for our anniversary. The hot tub, front porch, yard and dock were amazing. The bed was comfy and the property was clean. I enjoyed cooking in the kitchen as well. Thank you so much for having us and we’d love to come back again!

Great visit

This is a great spot for families for friends wanting to get away. The two stories offer plenty of space for everyone to have alone time while the living room/kitchen is large enough for everyone to gather. Beautiful view of the lake. We did not have a boat but were still able to enjoy the dock. Would love to come back again!

Relaxing at the Lake

We really enjoyed our stay! Gorgeous sunsets from the deck swing, enjoying an evening fire, relaxing in the hot tub, and reading a good book while lounging on the dock. We also enjoyed hiking at the near by state park and visiting the two local wineries. The house had everything you’d expect at a lake house and was very comfortable. The location was great. On a nice quiet cove and everything we needed was less than 20 minutes away. The only thing we missed out on was use of the canoe/ kayak that was advertised in the listing. They were locked up and the management company never did get us the code after we contacted them about the issue. There were a couple of nice days where we would have enjoyed going out for a paddle.
