We were very happy when we stayed here. The property is beautiful and clean. The location is perfect. The lady that cleans the rooms was very very nice and helpful. I would recommmend this place to everyone and I would definitely stay there again

Marcella was a wonderful host! Always willing to help with transportation arrangements or answer any questions I had! The property was close to everything in the historic center of Monopoli, but it was still quiet at night for sleeping. Highly recommend!

A good stay. Very central location ZTL area - a bit to walk with luggage but manageable. Good terrace if one want to have a glass of wine and view the roofs and sea.

We didn't have a car to park. It was self check in and never met the inn keeper. Room was excellent except no hot or warm water for shower. Great location. Thank you for the bakery treat

Beautiful property and very clean! The host was great and welcoming with pastries and wine! Small but cute and clean!!!!!! Only thing that needs improvement is the WiFi connection.

The room was clean and the location was wonderful. Marcello and the staff were super friendly and flexible. We accidentally locked ourselves out and he told us not to worry about a thing. He told us to go enjoy the beach and he will take care of the issue. While at the beach, an hour later we received a text that our door was unlocked, room cleaned, and we can return when we wished. Our experience was so positive that we changed plans to return to Monopoli from Lecce for a few more days. I would rate this place and the staff a 10/10 and highly recommend other travelers to stay here as well.

We absolutely loved our stay at Palazzo Fiscaiolo! The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the historic centre, making it incredibly easy to explore everything on foot. Our room was an average size for Italy, but the layout was very well thought out, so it felt comfortable and manageable. The air conditioning worked exceptionally well, which was definitely appreciated after some hot days exploring. A huge bonus is having access to a washer and dryer if you need to do a load of laundry during your stay. The rooftop patio was another highlight — the perfect spot to sit with a drink and take in the beautiful views overlooking the water. One thing to note for anyone with mobility issues: there are stairs to reach the accommodation, and you’ll need to carry your luggage up, so this is something to keep in mind when booking. Our host, Marcello, was extraordinarily helpful, incredibly responsive, and made the entire stay so easy. We would absolutely recommend Palazzo Fiscaiolo and would happily stay here again!

Fantastischer Aufenthalt, sehr netter Kontakt, schnell erreichbar, man erhält Frühstücksvoucher, die Lage ist unschlagbar. Es gibt auch eine Dachterrasse. Pluspunkt: Mückennetze vor den Fenstern.

great little place right on the edge of town, we had a very pleasant stay for just the one night while traveling around Italy. The host was very welcoming and accommodating to our needs. I would recommend to others.

We had a really nice stay at Palazzo Fiscaiolo. The location is definitely the strong point — right in the historic center, so you can walk everywhere without needing a car, which makes everything much easier. The terrace is beautiful, with a lovely view of the cathedral, and the sea is literally just a few steps from the entrance. The room is cozy and has that typical charm of historic Apulian buildings. The old town itself is full of small alleys and very atmospheric. Even though it’s in the center, the street is quiet and a bit tucked away, so we slept very well without noise from the nightlife. Marcella was always available and very helpful, and she gave us some great tips for visiting the Valle d’Itria. Overall, a very pleasant and relaxing stay.

Staff were very helpful when we requested additional bedding (a cold wind in October). They also brought a heater. A slight smell from the bathroom (I think this common in historical centre). Lovely room.

A beautiful well-appointed room in an old palace. We had the basement room which was slightly darker by necessity to keep out the light of the passing tourists. The room was craftily constructed and was very tasteful set out. Set right in the heart of the old town on Monopoli which is beautiful and not to be missed.

We really loved the property and tried to take full advantage of the space, location, and amenities. We booked this property with the understanding there was AC, yet there was none because the machine was broken. We had a later check in on Saturday, so unfortunately, the hosts did not get back to us for about 12 hours. By that time it was Sunday and nobody could service the AC machine. With 30+ heat and in an underground “cave-like” structure, this was really difficult to manage. With that said, they did refund us for our entire stay as this

Great location

The woman was nice and got back to you right away but after housekeeping came in it didn’t even look like they cleaned the room. It was in a great location close and walkable to everything. Be aware that there are many narrow stairs to get to the rooms so no elevator. Beds were comfortable and you get a voucher for breakfast down the block.
