“We loved our stay at the bunkhouse. It has a beautiful view and it well stocked. It’s not far from both - the crazy mountains for great hiking, and the lovely town of big timber where we had a pickle pepperoni pizza!”

“Our hostess was incredible. Sight and camper pristine. We even watched elk from the camper door. One can tell she works hard for her guests. If it were not for one issue, I would have given this a 5. The issue: I found the seating very uncomfortable. Though attractive, they were hard. If fixed, this lady deserves a 10! Vern gave wonderful tips on how to fill our days and was always ready to help with anything, even bringing us wood for a fire in the fire pit. The cabin is well equipped for meals. “We had a fantastic stay! The property was super clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed. The back deck was the best part - we grilled and relaxed to the sound of the river flowing right behind the cabin. It was peaceful and the perfect way to unwind after exploring. The location was ideal, just minutes from Yellowstone's north entrance. Check-in and check-out were a breeze and the owner was very responsive and helpful. “The location is very nice, Mountain View’s & able to walk short or ling distances from the location on dirt roads & can ‘get up high’ for city views. Also a lovely place to sit & read or a very sort walk to the creek. Owners are very accommodating to any needs & respect your privacy as needed. ”

“The cabin was very clean, comfortable and welcoming!! The only thing that could be improved is more lighting in the kitchen. The property owner was very easy to work with. The road was plowed well even though the area got 14 inches of snow just prior to our arrival. We really enjoyed our stay.”
