Private beach-Walk from Delightful Summer Cottage

  • Our house is a short walk (quarter mile - 2 blocks) to one of the most beautiful private beaches in the Hamptons (access to Hither Hills Private Beach with parking key and permit included).

    The house is tucked away from the road surrounded by beautiful trees. It's an upside down layout featuring a sun filled open floorpan with wood burning stove and cathedral ceilings. A skylit master bedroom with a king size bed and bathroom is also on the second floor. The two bedrooms on the lower level include a king sized bed (beds can be pulled apart into two twins) and a children's room with two bunk beds and trundle. There is a second shared bathroom for the two bedrooms. The set up is ideal for one or two families. There is also a mudroom with a third shower which is perfect after a day on the beach. The house is surrounded by beautiful oak trees which can be enjoyed from the outdoor deck. There is plenty of parking.

    House also offers central air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, washer/dryer, outdoor furniture, gas grill, games, puzzles, beach toys and chairs.

    The house is conveniently located. We are 1 1/2 miles to downtown Montauk, 1 mile to Gurneys and 8 miles to Amagansett.

    East Hampton Rental Registry Number 23-1043 NOTE: East Hampton rules allow for NO MORE than 4 unrelated guests to occupy the house. If this rule is broken guests will be asked to leave and charged the full security deposit to cover fines.

Hither Hills rental

We were very happy with our stay. The accommodations were as described and the neighborhood and access to beach were unencumbered by crowds and the people were friendly. Very comfortable sleeping arrangements and very neat and clean. Would highly recommend.

Amazing Stay!

Sam was a fantastic host! Super helpful with check in / check out and was easy to communicate with if we ever had any questions about the house. The house LITERALLY had everything we needed for a fun week at the beach. Outdoor deck area was great and it was just a short walk to the beach which you can also easily access by car with a beach pass! Would definitely recommend!

Property owner was very accomodating

The WI-Fi didn't work during the entirety of our stay, which was a bummer as this was a work trip, and WI-FI in Montauk is spotty as is. The owner was very apologetic and tried to help in anyway she could with sending people to take a look and resolve the problem. It was not her fault at all, and she tried to resolve as much as she could. If we did this trip again, no Wi-FI would be a dealbreaker. Hopefully its resolved for the next guests.

Nice quiet house near the beach

We had a really nice time at this house. It's very close to beach and is surrounded by greenery. The house itself is equipped with bikes, board games, books etc to keep you engaged. Great vacation house.

montauk getaway

Had a very pleasant stay at the home, very comfortable accomodations, enjoyed the neighborhood, used the bicycles provided, made for 90 second trips to the beach! Also very close to Montauk amenities, fishing, surfing.

Great upside down cottage just a short walk to the beach!

My family had a great time staying with Samantha in the Hither Hills section of Montauk. This home had a great location walking distance to the beach, with a nice little deck in a private wooded neighborhood. Perfect for a large family or two couples with kids, there are plenty of bathrooms to go around. Samantha was very attentive and answered all of our questions very quickly. I would definitely recommend Sam and her place to a friend

Great stay, great location!

Our group had a great time at Samantha's property! We had a group of nine for a ladies' weekend, and the space worked well. The house had everything we needed for grilling and prepping our meals, and a great patio for eating outdoors. Location is ideal, it's a quiet wooded street less than 10 minute walk to the beach. Beach was AMAZING! Beautiful and private -- even on a hot Saturday in June, there weren't too many others there, so we could spread out and enjoy the sun without crowds. Also not too far from the bars and restaurants in Montauk. Would stay again!

Perfect family vacation

I spent a wonderful vacation with my kids (ages 2, 5, & 7). The house had everything we needed for the kids (pack and play, high chair, safety gates, beach toys). The open upstairs area is welcoming and comfortable. We also loved spending time on the deck which is right off the living and dining areas. It's really easy to walk to the beach (they have a wagon) and the kids loved the 5 min ride down the hill. We had one rainy day and Samantha gave us some ideas of things to do with the kids. Guerneys is just up the road and we decided to spend the afternoon at the indoor pool. This house is a gem and we recommend it to other families.

Cozy beach cottage - feel right at home!

I had the pleasure of staying at Samantha's beach house last summer. The house was perfect for our group and we loved being such a short walk from the gorgeous Hither Hills beach! The roof deck was idyllic for eating breakfast in the morning or enjoying the ocean breeze in the afternoon. I could not have hoped for a more accommodating and responsive host than Samantha! She made the rental, from booking to actually being at the house, so easy and comfortable. I would be happy to stay at 69 Cleveland Dr again and absolutely recommend you stay there as well!

Perfect weekend!!

Everything you need this house has to offer! Close to the center of town and the beach. Very spacious plenty of room to hangout inside and outside the house. The bedrooms are very accommodating enough beds for everyone to sleep. 2 full bathrooms with 3 showers for everyone to get ready in. The house is well equipped with everything you need to cook your own meals if you plan on bringing your own food. The BBQ on the deck worked out perfectly for us. The long driveway provides plenty of parking for all your guests. All around this place is a gem for those weekend get aways. Looking forward to coming back!! Samantha is wonderful she gives a quick response and is very helpful made the stay that much more enjoyable!!

Very nice, as advertised, owner was very responsive and helpful

This is a very nice property. Our first time in Montauk. The upstairs and downstairs bedrooms and baths are a plus. Beach parking and access worked well. It is very walkable also, about 5 minutes. The beach was beautiful. Easy drive into town. Very comfortable friendly neighborhood. Although we were all adults, I think it would work for two families with small children given the bunk room. We would stay here again.
