Wonderful place to stay! The house was clean easy to get to and the bed was very comfortable! I would recommend staying here if in the area! Easy drive to Great Sand Dunes National park!

We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautiful, comfortable, and very well equipped with everything we needed. It was clean, spacious, and made us feel at home throughout our stay. We really enjoyed staying here and would happily recommend it to others. Thank you for being a great host!

We loved the hot tub and all of the snacks! The flowers on the bar were beautiful and there were plenty of towels, extra blankets, everything we needed! The house was very charming and cute! We loved our stay!

Charming remodeled farmhouse that fit our family perfectly. Reasonably located close to the sand dunes and hot springs, an hour from the ski resort, and about 15 minutes to town. This house is located on a farm so there is lots of wind and dirt but that is to be expected of the area. We enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed to survive a family vacation.

One of the cleanest places I’ve stayed in. Very spacious and everything you could think about was there for you. My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend

We had a wonderful stay after spending the day at Great Sand Dunes NP. We brought food to make supper and enjoyed each other’s company in this beautiful home and setting. It worked perfectly for my family of 5!

Everything was great except that there were only four of each silverware type - having at least twelve of each would really help. Note that there are fans in the bedrooms but there is no a/c.

Lovely lil stay in the county. The place was super clean, stocked with basics (spices, oil, coffee, cooking supplies. The beds and bathroom were clean and comfortable. We didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub because of afternoon storms but perfect for a getaway.

House was tastefully decorated. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was equipped for all of our cooking needs. Hot tub was a great luxury that we all enjoyed after a hard day of hunting. Host accommodated all of our needs. Bonus was viewing the Northern lights.

The house was nice. It was clean. The kitchen was nice. The problem was the bathroom. It had an old clawfoot tub fitted with a shower. It looked cool but it was very hard to get into, especially for us folks older than 60. Once you got in, it was a slip and slide. It was so slippery and there was no mat to put in there. We were all scared to use it, even the couple who were 30. The other problem was access to the bathroom. The master bdrm was off the kitchen. It had a door

I loved this house! It was perfect for my parents and me to stay at during a family vacation. It's a beautifully restored farmhouse and I love the personal touches! It's my kind of place! It's close to pretty much everything in the San Luis Valley. We went to Alamosa in less than 20 minutes, the Sand Dunes in less than that! It's perfect and when I come to this area again, it's at the top of my list!

Nice Farm stay

House was clean. Everything needed to cook. The owners responded quick to our questions. Beds were comfy. We used the hot tub that was nice. If your going to the Sand Dunes it's about 40 mins drive. I recommend staying here.

Great hosts, great property, great stay!

It is very apparent by the updates to this property that the hosts have put a great deal of time, effort and love into ensuring that their guests are comfortable. The house has been modernized and is super welcoming. There is only one bathroom, but that's to be expected with a farmhouse of this generation. Everything was just perfect.

Not for seniors

This property is not for seniors. Fall risks and most bedrooms are upstairs. No AC, fans cooled by the second night. Lovely setting, nice decor, well kept grounds.

A wonderful place to stay while enjoying the San Luis valley.

Your hosts are wonderful, accommodating and can answer probably any question you have about about farming barley and potatoes. We will definitely stay here again. It should be noted that there is only a claw foot bathtub, which is wonderful for baths but somewhat difficult to get into if you have any mobility issues. There is a shower curtain, so once in all is good!

Absolute Gem!

This property is a wonderful place to stay! Extremely clean and well appointed with everything you need in the kitchen, new washer and dryer, new dish washer and very comfortable beds. The bathroom has a lovely porcelain cast iron tub! The location is very quiet and is a working farm, where you can see the barley seed being grown for Coors beer. Your host, Taylor, is very helpful and very quick to reply to any questions you may have. If ever I am back in the San Luis Valley and need a place to stay, this week be the place!

Nice farmhouse about 30 minutes from sand dunes

Nice place in a remote location but still close to Alomosa and Monte Vista and the Sand Dunes are about 30 minutes away down some county roads. Wish we could have stayed longer. It is definitely an older farmhouse feel and has been nicely updated but still has the old charm with creaking floors, etc. but nicely done. Would always prefer a real shower instead of the claw foot tub and shower curtain surround but wasn't that big of a deal.
