“Beautiful small hotel. We received a nice upgrade without asking for it. The apartments are very comfortable and has complete kitchens. They received us with a bottle of wine and some groceries. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but there are some options nearby. I would only recommend staying here if you have a car. Good option to stay here and make day trips to different Tuscan towns.”

“The accomodation at Montegabbro allowed us a vacancy both within a calm, natural environment at the end of a small road and nearness to major sights in Tuscanny, such as San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena, Firenze etc.. The perfectly equipped house features everything we needed, from airconditioned (cooling/warming) living- & bedrooms unto WiFi, Flat-TV (italian progs) etc.etc.. The owners were near and supported in any question. Some hints: For going to FIRENZE we recommend the bus from Colle Val...

“The place is in the middle of a huge green area, ideal for those who want peace and quiet location. We were in group of 19 and there was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. Marco, the owner, is very attentive to all details and always around to help. House ammenities were a plus for those rainy days when we could not visit sorrounding Tuscan cities.”

“Our first trip to Tuscany. Casa Marta was absolutely located on the most gorgeous area of Val d’Orcia the views are as if you are looking at a painting. Carine is a fabulous host with great suggestions on where to visit and things to do in the surrounding villages. This was our first trip but not our last.”

“Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es gibt wahrscheinlich nur wenige Häuser mit einem derart grandiosen Ausblick. Die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen; es war aber alles sauber. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Für den Pool war es leider noch etwas zu kalt. Das Dörfchen ist leicht zu Fuß zu erreichen. Es gibt eine sehr gute Pizzeria (mit sehr fairen Preisen) und einen kleinen Supermarkt. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge, für die man aufgrund der Straßenverhältnisse natürlich etwas...

“I rarely give a 5 star rating but this property is incredible. When it comes right down to it, people make all the difference. Emanuela was so friendly and accommodating. She was just so happy. She checked on us and helped us with our questions. Beyond that, the apartment is perfect. We so enjoyed our time on the terrace. The building is relatively quiet and we enjoyed watching all the animals living in the apt below us, especially Theo and all the turtles! Highly recommend and we will return....

“Overall we were very pleased with the villa. Owner communication & support are great, no issues at all. Kitchen is well-stocked, even so we were happy to have brought our own chef's knife. Bedrooms were fine and given the position of the house, there was always a breeze. Thus the house stayed cool even in the heat. The swimming pool is brilliant and very welcoming on hot afternoons. There are 3 properties that have access to the pool, so it is semi-private. View from the pool is great but no...

“No puedo más que elogiar todo lo que la casa nos ha dado, no se puede pedir más y se agradece que lo que te ofrecen sea de verdad lo que recibes,, la casa impresionante, limpia , muy bien equipada y muy cuidados todos los detalles,te sientes en casa en todo momento. “An sich war alles super. Gestört hat uns allerdings, dass die Bilder des Hauses etwas anderes versprechen. Das Haus steht leider nicht allein. Die Vermieter wohnen im Haus genau daneben und sehen auch auf das Grundstück ein da Ihr Haus etwas erhöht steht. Zudem ist das Industriegebiet wirklich sehr nahe. So dass man unter der Woche leider von Lärm geweckt werden kann. Das ist im Urlaub natürlich nicht optimal. Zahlreiche Olivenbäume verdecken zwar die Sicht teilweise aber eben nur teilweise....

“Wir waren mit der ganzen Familie in diesem großen, geräumigen, typischen toskanischen Landhaus. Es gibt einen großen und sehr gepflegten Pool und einen sehr schönen gepflegten großen Garten. Die Umgebung ist wunderbar, sofern man auf ländliche Umgebung Wert liegt. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich.”
