Possibility of visits to nearby Switzerland, playing golf in the exclusive club of Villa d 'Este. Perfect for our needs

We traveled with friends to adventure in Como and go to the Formula 1 race. The location was perfect. It was tucked away and the hosts were very kind and accommodating. The property was beautiful. We found ourselves wanting to just hang out there instead of running around. We would definitely stay there again.

Heel fijn verblijf

Het huis ligt heerlijk privé op een privéterrein met een slagboom. De weg naar het huis is moeilijk begaanbaar ( kiezels en kuilen) maar als je zeer langzaam rijdt is het te doen. De ruimte om het huis is zo groot. Het lijkt wel een park en het zwembad is top! Top! Top!

Family vacation

Fantastisch gelegen huis met heel groot zwembad en grote tuin. De eigenaren wonen (deels) in het bovenste gedeelte van het huis. Je merkt echter niet dat ze er zijn. Super behulpzaam en vriendelijke mensen. Kwamen met goede tips over dagtochtjes en restaurants. De keuken is erg klein en wat behelpen voor zo’n groot huis maar de bbq en de restaurants in de omgeving maken veel goed.

Great family holiday

After a whistle stop tour of Rome, we thoroughly enjoyed 4 nights at this villa. The hosts were very welcoming, meeting us and accompanying us to the property as well as providing recommendations as to where to eat and shop for food, plus a very generous welcoming gift of brioche bread on arrival and a bottle of fizz on our last night. After a hectic time in Rome, we all completely relaxed at the villa - it is so remote and peaceful. The villa is very spacious and stays cool during the day and night, and the pool is a great size - complete with inflatables! The kitchen is very well equipped, but we didn't trouble it too much, preferring to either eat out or just enjoy local meats, cheeses and bread. It's very close to Lake Como - and we did a day trip there - an hour walking tour and a boat trip to Torno, where we had an amazing lunch at Albergo Ristorante Vapore. Delicious risotto and an incredible view of the lake. We ate twice at Ristorante Da Rosa in Montorfano- once at the restaurant, then returning for a takeaway pizza on another night! This villa is a perfect holiday retreat - remote and peaceful, but within easy reach of fabulous places to visit and eat. We absolutely loved it. We completely relaxed and recharged our batteries after our trip to Rome. Our only word of caution would be the bumpy road to reach the property - make sure, if you have a hire car, it's not too sporty or low to the ground!

Grande propriété au calme

Tres belle propriété, bien située au calme entre le Lac de Côme et Milan. Grands espaces de vie, grande piscine et beau jardin. Comme l’appartement est en sous-sol, il reste frais quand il fait très chaud et c’est très appréciable.

Bellissima villa con piscina grande e giardino enorme situata in posto molto tranquillo.

Ci siamo divertiti molto. Vittoria ci ha fatto trovare la villa in perfetto ordine, tutto organizzato e ci ha aiutato quando avevamo delle domande. Le camere e le doccie sono molto belle e la cucina ha tutto il necessario e in abbondanza. Spero di poterci tornare di nuovo e godermi la tranquillita di questo bellissimo posto e la grandissima piscina.

Beautiful property set in beautiful grounds

We have enjoyed our stay immensely. The owner met us in the village to show us the way even though we didn’t land until late at night. The house is lovely very homely and exceptionally clean. We had everything we could need and more. The pool area is gorgeous and the pool a very large size. We enjoyed sitting outside in the beautiful gardens having a BBQ on an evening. The village is not very far away and has some great restaurants serving excellent food. All in all we had a great week and would definitely return.

Toller privater Aufenthalt

Sehr schöne Parkanlage mit großem Pool. Das Erdgeschoss des Hauses wird vermietet, im Obergeschoss wohnen die Vermieter. Zimmer und Bäder ok, die Küche ist leider mini klein und im Durchgang zwischen Wohn- und Schlafbereich. Aufgrund des schönen Wetters waren wir aber die meiste Zeit draußen und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Zeer ruime vakantiewoning met groot zwembad bij Como

Terras, woonkamer, en 3 tweepersoons slaapkamers en de tuin zijn allen zeer ruim, gelegen in een soort natuurgebied, dus veel rust. Toegangsweg gaat via de manege met een toegangspoort die de eigenaren kunnen openen met een afstandsbediening. Na aankomst konden wij de afstandsbediening blijven gebruiken. De keuken is oud en klein. Er is een WII voor spellen, een barbecue, en genoeg bedden en stoelen bij het zwembad. In de buurt is een restaurant (Grillo) en een tennisbaan en een barretje waar je kunt koffiedrinken en heerlijk kunt borrelen (Brusco). In een kwartier zit je in hartje Como. We hebben hier een enorm leuke vakantie gehad.

Nous avons passé un séjour magnifique avec les enfants à la découverte du lac de Côme.

Superbe séjour. Maison très agréable, spacieuse, originale, très bien équipée et fraîche en pleine canicule sans climatisation ! Les enfants ont adorés. La piscine, le bbq, les parties de cartes et de Ping Pong. LocalIsation parfaite pour découvrir la region du Lac de Côme. Nous en avons aussi profité pour passer une journée à la découverte du Lac Maggiore. 40mn de Milan et 15 minutes de la ville de Côme. Accueil des propriétaires très sympathique. Nous recommandons cette adresse !

Very nice house, with beautiful garden and large pool

We like the house very much. There is lot of space. The bedrooms were nice and the beds are good. The house has a large garden with a nice terras with lots of shade. The pool is also nice and large. The kitchen Is a little outdated. Overall we had a very good week.

Merci pour votre accueil. La maison correspond parfaitement à la description avec tout le nécessaire pour passer une agréable semaine. Nous étions 2 familles (4 adultes et 4 enfants) et avons eu tout ce qu'il fallait. Le cadre est magnifique, la région incroyable et les notes attentionnés. Nous recommandons vraiment cette villa si vous recherchez calme et proximité du lac de Côme.

Une belle semaine de vacances !

La villa est située au calme, dans un jardin arboré parsemé de magnifiques hortensias. A l'intérieur, le living room est spacieux et confortable, avec de nombreux jeux pour les enfants. La cuisine est effectivement petite mais elle est ouverte vers le living room et bien équipée avec des équipements et des ustensiles de qualité et en nombre. Sur la terrasse, table de ping-pong pour les amateurs. En contrebas se situe la piscine, ensoleillée et de grande dimension. Il est exact que les propriétaires vivent au 1er étage mais les espaces sont bien séparés et les propriétaires très discrets. La maison est idéalement située pour atteindre facilement les grands sites touristiques de la Région. Hôtes sympathiques et accueillants que nous recommandons.

A lovely property in a superb location.

We had a wonderful week at this lovely house in a gorgeous part of Italy. The property is in a very quiet location with easy access to Como and the surrounding area. The facilities in the property were excellent and everything worked well. There is the added bonus of Tennis courts a short walk from the house, as well as horse riding if you wish. The local restaurant was first class, if a little expensive. The pool is a good size and kept very clean. Most impressive was the kindness and generosity of the owners who were very helpful with any questions we had. Thank you!

Nice but...

We have spend a really nice week in the villa. The inside of the house and the rooms, bathrooms looks like the pictures. However, the kitchen is really tiny, no window and it is really difficult to cook there for 6-7 people. The swimming pool is nice and big. We have been well welcome by the owner (with some specialty brioche offered). The big black point was firstly that we were the first of the season so the swimming pool haven't been cleaned properly, the grass has been cut in the middle of our stay, the house was dusty (also the plates, glasses...etc) like when nobody live there for a while. For us, the house wasn't ready when we arrived which was a bit unfair to us (even though they ask us if the gardener could come and what time...). Now the point which should be said in the add is that the owners live upstaires and there is a dog. We were with a child and the dog bark few afternoon during her nape and arrived twice in our living room which can be dangerous. Overall we had a pleasant stay, but it is not missing much to have a perfect stay. I think that more details such as the dog and the owner living upstaires should be mentioned. Thank you.

A beautiful house, very big as the garden and the swimming pool. The rooms are full of optional and detailed with all the things one need to spend a good holiday. Antique and modern furnitures live together in a lovely mix. A dip in the history of the family that hosted us. A wonderful place to relax body and mind but also to have fun with friends. The house is very big, beautiful and comfortable as also the garden and the swimming pool. We were surrounded by nature and quiet. The rooms full of optionals and lovely details a dip in the history of the family that hosted us. A great place to relax and regenerate body and soul but also to have fun with friends.
