The check-in was terribly uncomfortable. We were given two different units number, one code which only worked for one of them, but was actually the door to current tenants’s appartment. We had to wait over half an hour to get in.
When we finally did, we inspected the entire place and realized that despite them advertising their cleaning measures, all of the pots and pans, as well as clutery were dirty and crusty. This raised our discomfort levels knowing we’re in the middle of a pandemic, and a company who claims to take all precautions to clean this space, has not done their job. When we followed-through this issue with them, they said it could’ve been solved if we had told them, except we DID mention multiple times and received no help.
The owners were unresponsive for most of the stays. Communication was fragmented and often ignored. We were told we would be given compensation for the safety and check-out issues encountered on the first day, however, they have not been accountable to that promise. They have been ignoring our emails and texts, so we are putting this review out there in hopes that it can prevent potential guests to book with them. Would not recommend this experience.
On a bright note, the location is quite accessible and close to groceries, markets, and the Italian village.
