Awesome place in a great location.

This was a super clean place, well located for our visit to Montreal. It was an easy walk or short ride to a lot of the places we visited and dined. The unit has a great rooftop patio and was very spacious for 4 people.

great location for jazz fest; easy walk to the festival and to the Mount. Lots of stairs to access this apt, but private rooftop deck made it worthwhile. Perfect getaway!

Great place to stay!

The appartment is great, all information were very clear and easy. It's a very nice location close to Museums, the center of Montreal and Subway. We really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Montreal stay

This stay was perfect. The apartment is modern with a great rooftop patio and in a perfect location. It's a nice walk to downtown, the mountain and Boulevard Sant-Laurent area. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a lovely, clean and spacious place that's about 10 minutes walking distance to McGill and the downtown area. It's in a quiet residential neighborhood though on a busy one way street (just don't think NYC busy). For anyone who has mobility issues or doesn't want to walk up four flights of stairs, this is not optimal. Melissa is responsive and really helpful.

Great location, chic and sweet

We needed a spot near the university and this apartment was only 10 min away. It’s elevated on a hill so not the best for walking per say but a quick uber did the trick. The apartment is clean and chic and looks exactly like the photos. The host was kind and helpful, we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!

Great Apartment

This is a lovely, spacious unit. Extremely clean, airy and bright. Newly remodeled with nice furniture and linens. The only issue is that it is a fourth floor walk up from the rear parking area (not mentioned in the description). But it is a great value.

Great Stay in Montreal

My family and I traveled to Montreal to tour McGill University. As someone who likes to refrain from driving in any large city if I can help it, I very much appreciated the parking space directly next to the property. The city is very walkable, and this property was only a half mile from McGill. The property was extremely clean. As other reviewers have mentioned, please be aware that the only entrance is up four flights of stairs. This was not a hardship for us, but I can see how it would be for anyone with physical disabilities. There is a small rooftop terrace, but during our stay, there weren't any chairs from which we could enjoy the space. We loved the large windows at the property, though, and enjoyed downtime in the evening on the sofa. Plenty of pillows provided, but an extra blanket or two would be helpful. :) Overall, we had a great stay and would consider staying here again.

Spotless Suite

The back stairs where we had to enter were pretty dirty and unsightly. They were also VERY difficult to navigate for three people in their 70s. Especially carrying luggage. I don't remember reading anywhere that there was no elevator, which you would expect in a "penthouse

Great accommodation in Montreal

Lovely clean well appointed apartment in a great location in Montreal. Our family of 4 had plenty of space to relax at the end of each of several full days of touring the city. If you can’t handle several flights of stairs it’s not the place for you. This was not an issue for us. We particularly enjoyed being across the street from the beautiful park and made full use of this convenient location to take a few walks there. Our only mistake was not searching in advance for appropriate grocery stores in the vicinity. There are lots of little convenience stores but we prefer to get everything we need the first day at a proper market. Not a big deal and we managed just fine. I would certainly stay here again.

Cute place but far from downtown and very warm

We enjoyed the cute space. Great for two couples. But only one en suite the other bedroom has to use the bath down the hall off the kitchen. We didn’t cook but the kitchen would be fine to make a simple meal. The central air was not working. There were portable ac in each bedroom but it could not keep up with the sun and heat that comes in thru the windows. This was a big disappointment for us. When your walking mikes each day you want to come back and cool off but we just sat there and sweat. Parking is in the rear of the apartment with a huge flight of stairs ahead of you. We would suggest unloading your luggage at the front door and then driving in back to park your car. We wish we had known this when we arrived. We had to Uber everywhere cause it’s a 54 minute walk to old Montreal. And it’s uphill back. Overall we may stay here again but will probably find something closer to Old Montreal where we can walk to coffee shops and dinner each day. Response to our questions or concerns was prompt. The rooftop deck is shared. If you want more than one towel or wash clothe bring them cause it’s very limited what’s provided but we could wash them if we wanted but your on vacation so who wants to do laundry?! We loved Montreal and can’t wait to return!!

Horrible manager ruined OK condo

This was my 6th and last VRBO stay. M11Rentals provided misleading and inaccurate information about check-in, check-out, payment dates, and reservation “finalization”. Check-in codes were withheld until 4pm on our check-in day, when we had no access to wi-fi; then the info provided was wrong. We stood on the 4th floor outside landing for 30 minutes next to the reeking garbage cans and flies before we could finally open the door. Upon entry, the condo was 89 degrees because the AC was broken. A portable AC unit was set up in each bedroom along with a cheap fan, but nothing was turned on. When I called to ask when the real AC would be fixed, I was told after we would be checking out. Temps were in the 90’s for our entire stay, and the condo was mostly unusable. The photos of this condo are misleading. There is no pretty “terrace” off the living room. You have to climb a spiral stair to arrive at a section of the roof decorated with seating and a rug, but surrounded by ugly rooftop. There were no considerate guest supplies like: laundry soap/dryer sheets, decent towels, dishwasher pods, instructions for using appliances or even tissues. No owner EVER called to address the lack of AC. The 4 flights of stairs to reach the unit are exterior steps that must be treacherous in snow and ice. There is NO access to the unit from the inside stairwell. The parking space was too narrow to fit our Rav4. This unit is NOT WORTH THE PRICE. Shame on M11Rentals.

Apartment is very nice and spacious. Unfortunately air conditioning are only in the bedrooms and very loud so it is difficult to sleep with it on. The living area doesn’t have air conditioning so it is hot. Everything else was great. The entry instructions are some what confusing between parking entrance and front entrance.
