“If you're looking for a quaint, vintage lakeside cabin like the one your grandparents stayed at and want to be serenaded to sleep by loons, this is your place. A pileated woodpecker visited the adjacent woods in the morning. The cabin's creaky floorboards let you imagine the generations that have enjoyed themselves here. Excellent communication from the owner. A very restful night.”

“Very clean and cute! Community was lovely and this particular property is close to the pool, games, etc but without being “bothered” by it. I would definitely stay here again. Only two things…property has ocean view but only a portion of the view is ocean. It is not what I would consider ocean front, as I expected. Also…if I were to make any suggestion for the host it would be to have a few Keurig coffee pods stocked. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere that doesn’t at least have “starter”...

“it was a really nice place, it was really clean and spacious, and they had a lot provided which was nice, overall there was good communication but there were some things I feel like Should have been communicated a lot sooner, there was also alot of seaweed by the dock so we couldn’t really go swimming, but overall I had a really great time!!”

“This place offers the bare minimum to guests and feels depressing. It technically has all the things it says, but the air conditioning is on the porch and not the bedroom or main area of the house, the kitchen exists but isn’t stocked enough to cook in, and the kayaks are there but you have to walk through 10 feet of mud to get in the lake. It’s on a main road and is loud. It’s not peaceful, so we complained about all of these things and left after one hour. It was worth going to a better place...

“We stayed here for a long weekend with our 3-year-old and had a really nice time! Property was clean and comfortable, and the location was peaceful and quiet. We spent a lot of time just hanging out looking at the lake, canoeing, and attempting to fish off the dock. We really liked all the birds and wildlife to see right there on the property. Kitchen had all the basic gear you'd expect, although you'll want to bring your own spices, oils, etc. ”
