Perfect getaway

Ideal location to get away from the hustle and bustle to relax and recharge. It was very clean, comfortable and well equipped to make a no fuss weekend getaway or holiday.

Serene Stay

We had such a peaceful stay here with our pooch Molly. So lovely and quiet. We took everything with us so there was no need to leave. The kids loved the fire pit and the stars at night were unbelievable.

My partners favorite stay so far

The cottage had everything we needed so clean and tidy . Ideal for our dog , pristine surroundings and a great reset from the hustle and bustle of suburbia . looking forward to our next trip during summer for a swim in the beautiful river

Great bush location with everything you need

If you like bushwalks, fires inside, fires outside, creek swims, and being left to just chill, this spots for you! Kitchen with all the things you need, bbq and stovetop cooking options. Great walk on the property with excellent views

Perfect getaway with a dog

Beautifully renovated house above the remote valley. Fenced compound of three buildings was perfect for our dog who ran himself into the ground and also enjoyed the company of the owner’s dog.

Great dog yard and forest walking.

Out weekend was very relaxing at valley views. Our dogs loved it also. The wood heater heated the whole house on a winters night. Thanks to Sam and Louis for providing such a nice getaway.

Very Peaceful

A delightful cottage on a farm. Incredibly quiet and a great place to get away and decompress. Highly recommended. The covered decking is a truly wonderful place to sit and enjoy the beautiful calls of lyre and currawongs. Wonderful river nearby for those looking to cast a line.

Valley views

Our stay at valley view was absolutely amazing. The stone cottage and amenities were both rustic and luxurious! The bed was so comfortable, the kitchen so well equipped. The wood and art work, the garden, the views and the attention to detail in every aspect was faultless. Immaculate A beautiful slow combustion fire inside and a stone fire pit outside The internet was also very good. Much better than nbn etc Beautiful walks and scenery. Peaceful and private We would so love to stay there again and would highly recommend it

The information provide on the booking site (& at the cottage) by the host is accurate and helpful. While access would be a challenge for a regular car, the hosts are very open on the site about that. Once there we had an idyllic stay for 3 (rainy) nights, so enjoyed the wood fire. Loved the rustic country feel but the cottage is decorated with style and has everything you will need. Lots of space and good beds. And as needed the hosts were very responsive. A unique spot.

Back to the bush with all modern days comfort

Gorgeous house with so many quirky , personal touches. Multiple places to sit outdoors, all equally beautiful, so hard to choose. Beds are super comfortable, kitchen well equiped and a dishwasher as well! We loved the absolute peace and quiet and beautiful bush outlook. The weather was very hot,so,we didn’t do much walking, but multiple walks available straight from your back and front door. Ideal for dogs as well

Solitude and comfort

Everything about this property is amazing!! The hosts Sam and Louis, have thought of everything you need to experience all the comforts of home, in a remote location experiencing the best of the Australian outdoors. The house is a mixture of creativity, old style design and modern day necessaties to give you the feel of your own private home away from home. Privacy from the surrounding wilderness is guaranteed. The variety of trees and plants surrounding the house is abundant, as is the various bird sounds and wildlife in the area. ( keep your camera handy) In warm weather you have the beautiful streams and waterholes nearby, with walks and short drives a plenty. The cascade walk and picnic spot provide you with a private sanctuary in rainforest conditions, and you even have a Yoga/reading room, with outdoor deck overlooking an outdoor fireplace. So many options for you to relax, exercise and enjoy the serenity of the Australian Bush. Sam provided us with home cooked bread, fresh vegetables and a cheery meet and greet and farewell. Louis had very entertaining stories about the property and the adventures they have had since moving to the area. Overall, I would like to return during winter, to experience to location in the colder months. It has comfortable beds, a fireplace, great hot water, fully equiped kitchen, with every accessory you'll need. (inc- a five burner BBQ outside) I'd also highly recommend 'Valley Views' to international and Interstate guests , who are looking for the authentic Australian Bush experience. The hosts are high quality people, that stand ready to inform and guide you and make your trip one to remember. That was one of the most relaxing weeks of my life. Thankyou. P.S. This is a dog friendly location!! My rescue greyhound 'Joyce' had a large fenced area, to roam and explore around the house. the comfortable cool floorboards in the house allowed her to strecth out and relax. 'Felix' the wonderdog lives with Sam and Louis, and will join you to make sure your dog is happy and knows where all the good tracks are. 5 Stars allround!!

Our stay at Valley Views was absolutely amazing. Sam and Louis were extremely friendly and informative, however they gave us all the privacy we needed. The fenced in yard was perfect for my 2 large dogs, they both had a ball playing with Felix, Sam and Louis, dog.Prior to arrival i hurt my knee, so Sam and Louis went above and beyond to facilitate us to be able to access the creek and we are so greatful for that.The cottage is so cute with so many personal touches, the hosts also leaving us presents of chocolates and organic goodies. We were so spoilt.The creek is absolute paradise. We spent most of our time in the water, as we had very warm days.We would not hesitate to recommend Valley Views, it was clean and very comfortable. We had an immersion in nature, which was exactly what we needed to recharge our souls.Thank you Sam and Louis!

Amazing place to stay

This was one of our all time favourite stays. The location was really serene and picturesque while the property itself was really cool - super comfortable, well appointed and so interesting! The owners have put a lot of effort into the fine details and they were really helpful and communicated well. We enjoyed the various local walks, lookouts and river streams and we were also able to venture out to the coast quite easily on one of our days. Definitely recommending this accommodation to friends and family.

Delightful cottage

This cottage is a great escape from the noise and chaos of city life. Comfortable serene and surrounded by trees and mountain views. The hosts were excellent.

Idyllic country retreat

Lovely property owned by lovely people. They have thought of everything! I stayed with my dog & he loved it. Generous fenced yard meant I didn't have to worry about him. We did the full walk to the top of the mountain which is not for the faint hearted! I'm still sore haha. Also lots of gorgeous spots nearby. I def wouldn't do the full walk in summer but so many stunning swimming spots for summer. Highly recommend

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is clean and cosy. The cottage was decked out with some great decore and kitchen fully equipped. Perfect for a country getaway. Surrounded by bushland and natural waterways. We would happily go back again

Everything you would possibly want from a mountain retreat!

From the minute my partner and I arrived, we were greeted by the quiet wilderness and walked into a beautifully walmed farmstead cottage. From the serentity of ranges that surround you to the functionality of the accommodation (it seriously has everything from cheese serving boards to a firepit) we had the most wonderful relaxing stay. The views from the eastern decked area are spectacular, especially enjoying a cuppa in the morning. Also, the comfortability of the bedding and clawfoot bath was awesome! The owners are as tenitive or as reclusive as you need! And their write-up about the cottage is spot on. I would and have already highly recommended this getaway to many people, if your looking for a quiet, relaxing place nestled in the mountain ranges, this is your spot!
