“We were in town for three days of SCUBA diving. This place is a great location for Olympus (just a few blocks) and Discovery (just 4 miles). It was really nice to come back to a spacious place for the family and loved having a kitchen to make lunch for long days on the boat. Very clean and cozy. “What an amazing house! We loved our stay here. We were a group of 10 ladies who came to celebrate 3 milestone birthdays. We had an amazing time swimming, kayaking, exploring, eating and laughing. There was an appliance issue but there was great communication and solutions to help get it fixed. It was very clean and had lots of things here available for use (shampoo, soap, toiletries, spices, etc) which was nice to not have to bring. Walmart is directly up the street so was nice for last...

“This is a beautiful property. Plenty of room to accommodate our eleven adults and one grandchild. The pool and hot tub got a lot of use through the week. Both were clean and well maintained. Deck space was plenty for our group to spread out. Great ocean view and nice, clean beach. The two kitchens was a nice plus (especially the two refrigerators- one for food, one for beverages. Would happily stay here again. ”

Ocean was still warm enough for us to swim even from Oct 6-9. Sand was nice, beautiful sunsets. One warning to folks not used to this area...the cops will ticket you for driving over 35 mph. ”

“It was a fun experience to stay in such a unique spot. My teen and I enjoyed the kayaks at sunset. And waking up to that view was lovely. Our hosts had a lot of nice touches with the coffee station, snacks and nice bath products. (And while the location is a little unusual, road traffic wasn’t really too bad with the air conditioning on.) it was really cool to stay right on the water in a former fishing cabin, while still being easily able to explore Swansboro, Cedar Point and Emerald Isle. ”

“Terrific location. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Easily accommodated 14 people. Enough kitchen utensils and cooking equipment to make large meals. There were sand toys for the kid, shibumi shaded 2, boogie boards and kites. The interior was beautiful , the beds comfortable, bathrooms clean. The owner was responsive when contacted.I highly recommend this place.”
