My family very much enjoyed our long weekend at Bearfoot Hideaway. We booked last minute, and the property manager was very responsive and provided great service. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It had all of the amenity we needed for a quiet and family friendly stay. We also really enjoyed the scavenger hunt- such a fun way to explore the property!

We stayed at the Bear-Foot Hideaway from Thursday evening (Mar 13) - Sunday morning (Mar 16, 2025) to get the family together and away from it all for a 60th birthday celebration. Communication with Debbie was very easy and comfortable. We had bad thunderstorms and lost power for about 8 hrs. Debbie had mentioned to me that this happens, so we were well prepared. The price could have been a little lower, but it was a nice cabin - and close to many amenities!

What a great place this is!! The location is great close enough to everything but super quiet, only a couple of other cabins. The cabin is clean and well appointed with plenty of games and things to do. Great stay!! One word of caution, the cabin is on a steep hill, if you go in winter it get icy and slippery.

This was a great property located 9 minutes from a grocery store and 15 from Blue Ridge. Debbie was great to communicate with and very accurate on all descriptions. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, highly recommend this cabin.

The property was nice the cabin had everything you would need. There are more than enough games and forms of entertainment for everyone to enjoy. The cabin was clean and the kitchen had plenty of cooking appliances. We throughly enjoyed every minute of it. The location is great, lots of places to shop and eat. Definitely would rent again. The host was absolutely the best, from directions to a mishap with a pink wash cloth. She communicated with us in a timely manner and checked on us during the stay.

Everything was wonderful. We had a wonderful time. It is an enchanting home that helped us all leave the hustle and bustle behind. My grandsons loved the tire swing, the scavenger hunt and playing in the fall leaves. Don't miss the chance to enjoy this home. Or has everything you need to kick back and relax!

What a perfect setting for a family gathering! The cabin is clean and comfortable and the bedroom/bathroom combinations on each of the 3 floors allowed everyone to have their own space. The cabin is tucked away in a beautiful and quiet setting with plenty of outdoor seating and activity areas. Being able to travel with our dog was an added bonus. Debbie is a very responsive host and checked in to make sure our stay was perfect. We hope to visit again.

This cabin is the absolute best! So much room having three bedrooms each with their own bathrooms, plus a loft with additional beds! Great location at only a few minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. The cabin itself has everything you could need and want, including tons of games for the indoors and outdoors, including board games, pool, darts, an Xbox, and a karaoke machine! The scavenger hunt was so well put together and a fun activity that we did as teams (racing against times.) The owners provided a prize for finishing that was well worth it! We did have an issue getting the air conditioner to click on, but my husband was able to reach the owner quickly and the issue was solved! If we visit Blue a ridge again, we will definitely stay in this cabin. Highly recommend!

The cabin was nice a clean. We had everything we needed. Kitchen was ready for cooking. Beds were comfortable and plenty of room in the bathrooms. Location was for enough out but close enough in. Host was easy and fast to communicate with. Would recommend this for a place to get away.

Everything about our stay here was amazing! This cabin has everything you need and more! Very clean and comfortable. Plenty to do rain or shine. whether you wanna just relax in the hot tub after a hike, or do more hands on things they have you covered! Pool table, board games, tv, karaoke, music, fire pit/s'mores, darts and more! Literally the list could go on, I just named a few things we enjoyed! Great place for kids and adults! Our host Debbie was absolutely wonderful and accommodating!! She and her husband quickly an effectively took care of our every need. And you can just tell they are welcoming and want their guests to have the best possible stay! Great view, peaceful atmosphere, and all around awesome getaway! Seen lots of wildlife right from the deck just feet away! We would definitely stay here again!

We recently spent a long weekend at this property and it couldn't have been more perfect for our family! The cabin was the cleanest and best arranged we've ever stayed in. Our teen girls enjoyed all the games, firepit, hot tub, and tire swing in the woods. My husband and I really enjoyed the upstairs master suite with a private deck for morning coffee while the girls slept in. This cabin was just what we needed to relax and recharge for a quick getaway. Debbie was a gracious host - answering all our questions super fast and we easily found all we needed in the kitchen, etc. We've been to Blue Ridge 3 previous times, but this is the best cabin and location so far! We'll be back!!

Debbie’s property was so lovely. Perfect for myself, my husband, our baby and dog. The decks has gorgeous views of the mountains and we could feel the tension leave our bodies sitting on the swing. The game room was fun and such a nice addition. Debbie was easy to communicate with and a huge help when we couldn’t find the property (use her directions, not GPS!). The cabin felt remote but was so close to town and the mountain road and driveway were very easy to navigate. Hugely recommend staying here!!
