Perfect stay for the whole family

We enjoyed our stay so much! Beautiful location! Not too far from civilization but far enough that you really feel like you're getting away. There's plenty to do right at the house, enough space for everyone to spread out and do their own thing. You can be as active and adventurous as you like or just relax and enjoy your surroundings!

Lakeside Oasis

Number 1 the communication with the property owner was the best I've ever experienced. She had some renovations happening before we arrived to the home and were halted during our stay. These renovations did not impact our stay whatsoever! My son and son in law, I had a wonderful time on the kayaks, my kids lived the ping pong and air hockey table. We utilized the hot tub 2 nights and it was fabulous! The buttons need to be pushed with a little muscle behind it but was not a big deal, it worked perfectly fine! The Sunset view was to DIVINE! This location is so close to downtown Blueridge so you are close to restaurants and activities such as shopping or riding the train (which I highly suggest!) This home was large enough for everyone to have their own space. We are so happy and would love to stay here again!! Thank you so much for our lovely stay!!

winter getaway

house was great and owners were very responsive. however the downstairs bedroom was slightly deceptive with local heater and no central heat with no heat in the gameroom that was attached. you had to walk through the gameroom to get to the bedroom and then turn on the spaceheater.

Amazing view!

Great place for a family or friends get together. Plenty of space and great open set up. It’s a little complicated to get to but once you’re there it’s great. We had a driver take us back and forth since we visited the wineries in the area. Highly recommend Kevin Fay 404-915-9249. Drivers are kind of hard to find in this area but he was great! The house is full of entertainment so if you get groceries you don’t need to leave the cabin. Highly recommend visiting.

Great View

The lake house was as described. It was well equipped and clean. The owners provided a detailed list of what's provided, so it made packing easy. The hot tub was very clean. It was nice having kayaks and a canoe for getting out on the water. The views were great and I appreciated the full propane tanks on site. No complaints here. Thanks for a great stay.

Break in Blue Ridge

The home was better than expected & a very nice surprise for lake property. We loved the roominess & privacy from surrounding homes. We had everything we needed to enjoy our time together. The detailed furnishings were better than most rentals with everything you can need or want. The abundance of linens surpassed any previous rental. Thank you for the hospitality!

Stay on Blue Ridge Lake

I want to thank Lori and Ralph for a wonderful stay. The cabin is beautiful and the location on the lake is truly magnificent. Plenty of space for 7 adults with more than enough supplies for everyone. Will definitely return and recommend this property.

Only 10 here is the view from deck!

The pictures look great, but there were issues. We were only 2 couples but the kitchen was so small & no counterspace. We had to get rid of cob webs from the fans, overhead lights, etc. The bedroom set up is not ideal. The loft bedroom upstairs has no door/privacy, & the view is ridiculous since the windows were so dirty you couldn't see out to see the lake. The blinds were torn/dusty. The bath had the towel holder coming off the wall. The master king on main floor/bath were fine. But the king suite downstairs was a joke. Concrete floors-not painted-just dark ugly concrete. There was NO door, just a curtain to pull as it's located next to the game room. It was dark, dingy/damp/moldy. We were so disappointed. The listing states shampoo, body wash etc would be provided. There were 2 little sample bottles and a little bar of soap-enough for 1 night for 2 people! We had to go get shampoo. The outside deck was nice, good furniture but was in need of yard work/cutting back trees for better views. The deck required alot maintenance as some boards were lifted up over an inch. We tripped on the deck! Also screws/nails were coming up and hurt the bottom of our feet. REAL SAFETY ISSUE. DON'T go barefoot on the deck. We have pictures. The worst-it was so HOT inside! It faces west-couldn't lower air below 72-it was locked. Asked owner for help-but said all was ok--NOT! The last morning we woke up to 78! VERY overpriced for the property. Only 10 we'd give is the view!

Lovely well appointed home

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful home. My grandsons told us “Best Vacation EVER”. We canoed, ping pong tournaments etc. There was not one single thing we needed that was not already thought of for us. We look forward to staying again.

Beautiful retreat

We had a wonderful long weekend on the lake. The cabin was clean, comfortable and exactly as listed. The view was incredible and we loved the dock, hot tub, game room, and kayaks. There were so many nice touches like the fully stocked kitchen with plenty of spices and coffee. We really enjoyed our family time here and will definitely return!

Awesome Getaway!

This cabin is absolutely amazing. We had such a great time and plan to go back this summer. The view is so spectacular, and we loved lighting fires each night and sitting on the porch with the fire pit. The boat dock is amazing. Communication with the property owner was outstanding. I would highly recommend this property and cannot wait to go back again.

Daily Grind Getaway

This place was great to get away from everything. Quiet neighborhood with spectacular views. It's up in the mountains so beware of the drive up to the house. The road was a little small for my truck if I had encountered anyone else going the opposite direction. Luckily there wasn't any traffic the whole weekend. The house was great! It was very clean, spacious with 4 nice size beds. Great view from all 3 levels over the lake. It was overcast so we never got to see the sun but I'm sure it would have been stunning to see! Come here to get away from everything!
