This cabin is a delight! The kitchen has everything you could want and the quality of the appliances and furnishings is great. There are little thoughtful amenities everywhere like outside towels, bathrobes (super comfy!), welcome snacks, and a pancake bar. Truly the most thoughtful hosts that I’ve stayed with. The upstairs loft is magical. We even had a thunderstorm to go with the twig lights - so peaceful and relaxing. I hope to stay here again. This is a perfect retreat if you need a space to get away and relax.

The cabin is wonderful! The amenities are wonderful, and the host is wonderful! We actually had booked a different weekend, but the host contacted us to let us know that bad weather was coming and it may not be safe to stay. The host then took care of all the arrangements to move our stay to another weekend. This is the only VRBO rental that I have ever stayed at twice, and I cannot wait to make it three times.

Cozy and inviting cabin stocked with everything that we needed and more. There were a number of thoughtful touches like the board game and record shelf and the biscuit bar. The host was great and very responsive. The cabin was perfect for a relaxing night in and also conveniently located for visiting downtown Blue Ridge and scenic locations in the area. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Blue Ridge

Such a great experience. The cabin is beautiful and the host thought of every little detail to make it special. We had everything we needed to grill out with a completely stocked kitchen. And, location was perfect with only a short drive into Blue Ridge.

If I could give 7 stars I would - this is perhaps the best VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. Every detail is so thoughtful and the property is much nicer than it even looks in the photos. Everything is so well put together, with a coffee station, a pancake and biscuit station, and the most well stocked kitchen and pantry I’ve ever seen. I hope I can stay there again!!!

Attention to detail

We spent a weekend at this sweet cabin near Blue Ridge. We enjoyed the hot tub and many of the nearby attractions. What really stood out was how the owners thought about everything we could possibly need! The kitchen was well stocked, lots of towels, even extra toiletries. We highly recommend!

A Magical Cabin in the Mountains

What a magical cabin this is, from the attention to detail, the cleanliness, the hot tub (that gets drained after every visit), to the cutest loft space and cozy fireplace! We truly enjoyed our visit and even extended our stay. Holly was so easy to get in touch and so accommodating. I couldn’t recommend it enough and am already looking forward to coming back!

Relaxing stay

We very much enjoyed our stay at Walnut Ridge! We loved the game loft, fire, and hot tub especially! The GE appliances were great to use in the Kitchen. We were glad we found Walnut Ridge to celebrate our 1st anniversary in Blue Ridge. They thought of everything for us to have a perfect stay. We hope to return soon!

Clean, cozy, relaxing

Everything was perfect... really amazing. The only thing we wished was different was having to hear dogs barking. Not bad... took it from a 10 to a 9.8. Host and experience were the best we’ve ever had!
